Unless your lad is on the board, then I'd suspect he'd know as much about the budget as you: nothing.

Someone is throwing money at Oxfords wages ,they have an Asian owner ,that's all I know but Jamie Mackie and Tony McMahon amongst others wont be on peanuts. Ive got them down to go up this season.
 
Perhaps Wilder’s allowing Karl Robinson to get both Carruthers and Holmes with no wage contribution, as an apology for tormenting him in recent transfer windows.

Intrigued to know what their weirdo fans make of Robinson. They didn’t like Wilder, described Appleton as Tomorrow’s Man, so it’s tough to predict whether the Smithy lookalike will be a breath of fresh air, or Satan in League 1 managerial form.

Thought Ricky Holmes was supposed to be going last week? Could him not going be a small chink of hope in an incoming, based on we haven't let Holmes go until we get another attacking mid in!?

I hope that's the case. I don't think he's been given a fair crack of the whip. Makes no sense to let him go until we've gotten in a replacement. But then again, we are Sheff Utd after all!

Seems he's just stuck in limbo land right now, like we are trying to bring in players. The too could well be related as I hope for and maybe we'll only see him going once the permanent window closes.

As others have remarked, a bit of a strange one.

Rarely given a chance at the Lane, but arguably performed better in the pre-season friendlies than a number of others who have started the first 2 league games.

Given the ongoing Duffy situation which started in the second half of last season, the manager's unwillingness to play Brooks and Duffy in the same team, and the almost complete failure to use Holmes, I have been wondering for months whether Chris simply isn't comfortable with/doesn't trust, what might be considered at our level, 'flair players'.
 
Little bit confused by this too. In his signing interview he was obviously aiming to help us get promoted (ie pretty enthusiastic), but hasn't really had the chance to make an impact over players who've had more.

A bit the same with Heneghan in my eyes, keen to impress but not given much chance to do so. Then loaned out.

My chances were limited at sheff U & after speaking to manager who I have so much respect for we both agreed I needed to play regularly and the system he will be using would limit my chances. Im someone who loves to play every week and thank oxford for giving me that opportunity

Why strange? He’s never looked like a professional footballer. Complete waste of money. He runs like the hunchback of notre dam’s brother. But nobody loves him. Not even Esmeralda.

That sounds pretty strange to me, especially considering how long we spent chasing him
