only on the bench at borough who are trying to bring in two more strikers.
Not really done anything at borough but went there with a good reputation, lots of potential
Take him on loan with option to buy, at least he has pace and knows how to make runs and us the type who will enjoy our Football
Lump it does not suit

I was thinking that last night too. Would seem to be an ideal fit - however unlikely.

If boro get hugill maybe they would be amenable to a loan switch if he drops further down the pecking order.

Hay said they can probably just swallow the wages and keep him just in case.

I'd definitely take him but Boro won't let him go unless they sign at least one more forward. When Wilder says he's waiting, I can only presume its because he has to wait for a club to sign who they want to let go on loan who we want. It's a waiting game and I doubt we'll get who Wilder wants before Thursday but confident that Wilder won't allow us to go to Christmas with just 3 forwards. I can still see Gallagher coming. I'm not ITK, but can't see a bigger club going for Gallagher after he didn't do well last season.

How can I put this...

And he said we were not signing anyone before Thursday and inferred that it was due to wage demands as opposed to fees
Some clubs help out with wages for loan players just to save them money on their overall budget

Derrrrrrrrr

He's essentially a younger, quicker Clarke, he's probably better in the air than Clarke though (I don't think he wins much in the air for his size) with hugill going in there he's going to be 4th choice, I think it is a possibility this one.

Think fletcher would be the perfect signing , reckon he’d fit us down to a tee , big fast athletic , just needs a run in a team scored goals at Barnsley and earned a move to west ham.

In The Sun this morning that Wilder is interested in bringing Fletcher in...

Unlike Norwood, who I had seen a lot of, (and who I couldn't believe we were actually going to sign), I have to admit i know just next to sod all about Ashley Fletcher.

What sort of a player is he? Young or old, any good?, big potential?, pacy ? good in the air?

He rings no bells with me.

Don’t know much about him but when he came on against us other week he looked like he couldn’t trap a bag of sand

22 - 6’ ish. Yorkshire lad born in Keighley but I think grew up in Manchester. Was a youth player at Manchester United then went to West Ham before Boro. I think had spell at Barnsley on loan (I’m sure someone will correct me if wrong). From the little I know got pace but seems to be someone who has yet to live up to his potential. Probably count as a punt if we went for him but has the attributes to be really good. My Boro mate says never really had a proper look in there so hard to judge him either way.

He's quite tall, he can run fast and dribble with the ball but is sometimes untidy with the ball at his feet in tighter situations. Can play up front or wide left.

Permanent transfer doubtful given that Boro paid £7m for him and the wages that will go with that.

Nixon just tweeted we’re after him and Hogan still ... says keen on one maybe even both.

Think it’s a punt we should go for. It’s got a Deano feel about it .
