So we apparently have about £15m to spend but haven’t strengthened the squad, whilst Bham just coming out of an embargo go and sign 3 quality players in 1 day, why haven’t we strengthened, the writing was on the wall the back end of last season, we need to strengthen in a number of areas, we better be busy in the market I;the next couple of days or we’re in for a torrid season.

I think this might be the end of the back 3. We've been defensively suspect for a long time now.

The problem with that being that we've built this squad with the idea of playing a certain formation, and now we don't have time to do anything about it. If we go 4-2-3-1 (like Wilder played at Northampton, I believe) we don't really have any wide men to make it work.

It's worrying that we've limited ourselves to certain formations with no options to mix it up. With our lack of wingers the best we could hope for in terms of a wider formation is maybe a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with Freeman and Stevens/Bryan out wide.

If I was the manager I'd put 3 players on the transfer list after this shit and fine the others a weeks wages, except for Henderson and McG who are at least trying.

Look......not bothered who it is, but you can't ever play Evans and Lundstram together.

Adding Bash to it with a fleck looking as though he's just got out of bed just isn't going to work.

Trying to play a long ball over the top of the biggest shithouse defender in the league. Good decision united. Deserved boos at ht.

Wilder needs to hold his hands up to this and admit he’s got things badly wrong and will be changing things. I could respect that.

Sack the fecker, sell 't club to anyone vaguely oriental and throw some money at the problem is my suggestion

Can somebody text Tufty the address of a good off licence between Middlesbrough and Sheffield.

I think he needs to stop the bus again!

He can fuck off if he thinks alcohol can sort this mess out. Bus can carry on down to Brentford and take Egan back n all.

So not that much to do with playing Evans and Lundstram then?

I think you misunderstood my comment about set pieces earlier, you might want re-read it.
No, I definitely didn’t misunderstand it. You said ‘are we really that bad at defending set pieces?’ Well there’s your answer

And not that much to do with playing Evans and Lundstram??? EH?!?!?
We’ve been fucking dogmeat and created NOTHING. WALK OVER.

Embarrassing. 3-5-2 clearly isn't working. Look at the teams who have recently gone up out of this division and what formation they use. Wolves 4231, Fulham 4231, Cardiff 442. The line up is absolutely shocking as well. Boro play one ball round the side or over the top and they're in or around our box. No plan B.

Yes mate. Some believed me some didn’t.

One or two swings, handbags, arguments, not getting into taxis.
Kinell. Mind you I think stuff like that happens regular in football, problem is when grudges carry on. Hopefully it was handshakes and forgotten at the time. Based on this tonight, it might be happening in the dressing room as we speak. Might knock some life into em.

Lundstram off, send him out on loan to get better on someone else's time. I stuck up for him all last season but there's something up with him and he's shit scared of cocking up.

Duffy on.

Leon off before he gets sent off, bench him for a while

Sharp on.

Stevens off, keep him as an emergency LB, he's pointless going forward so why play him in our system.

Bryan on.
