I think this might be the end of the back 3. We've been defensively suspect for a long time now.

The problem with that being that we've built this squad with the idea of playing a certain formation, and now we don't have time to do anything about it. If we go 4-2-3-1 (like Wilder played at Northampton, I believe) we don't really have any wide men to make it work.

To be fair, they are not bad individually. The problem is playing them both together. Not only does it not work for them, it manages to completely nullify Fleck too, because he has fewer forward options.

I think seeing Leon Clarke poncing about last week on London Road whilst getting into his Lamborghini is boiling my piss even more after tonight’s fucking abortion of a performance. Is Wilder sucking him off or summat? He’s not had a good game in 8 months yet he’s undroppable. If I was Billy Sharp I’d tell Wilder to fuck himself and get signed to the US Soccer League.
