Bare with me on this,

In this modern world where the typing of a message and can be sent to every corner of the world within seconds, a new breed generation who’ve only known this technology are starting to emerge.

Scientists have proven that a “like” on social media triggers happiness and worthiness in the brain, now I’m no scientist, in science at school I preferred to piss around with bunson burners rather than listen to the crap that came out the teachers mouth, saying this however I’m sure somewhere in the brain they’re receptors of the opposite, some sadists must get pleasure by posting shite online like.
“Wilder out”
“We’re going down”
“Useless”

When these people are challenged they respond with idiotic comments like
“Happy clapper”
“Go watch wednes*ay”

These people usually lurk on Facebook groups, some on twitter and even the odd one appears on forums like this.
I hereby urge all blades who agree with my post to support Euthanasia/vigilantism/hanging/stoning and various other forms of making social lepers disappear.

I do believe you'll find that these people are the football forum equivalents of Tommy Robinson supporters. Their retorts are the football forum version of calling people 'lefties' and Daesh sympathisers after being challenged for spewing narrow-minded bile.

It's all lovely stuff really, isn't life great and I cannot for one second imagine that my comment will receive any attention.

Labour supporting lefty happy clapper alert. Go support JC

Only slightly confusing but I've now worked out it was aimed at some Gay bloke who was dancing in a field last night!
I'm not gay but I was in a field, last night and well yes I was dancing but I am not gay, ok?

I don't like 'likes', i only like unwarrented kidney punches from motorised wheechair OAPS in the supermarket....

What I meant to say was the opening poster was obviously stuck in the Brighton Britney debacle and was making his point to fellow Campers.

They're known as cunts.

P.S. Please like my post

I was just checking to see if it was ok to come on the forum again, is the meltdown over?

I was really looking forward to the start of the season. The result on Saturday was disappointing, but hey ho.

For me personally, though, the real shame has been having my enthusiasm for the new season wet-blanketed by some of the shite that I overheard in the ground, and that has been spouted on here since. Players--OUR players, SUFC players--denounced as "tools", "cunts", "pricks", "fucking useless tossers", etc, etc, etbloodycetera. During and after the very first game of a brand new season. It's nothing new, I guess. In fact, it's pretty standard stuff from a significant boorish minority of our notional "supporters". After a couple of months off, I suppose I'd just forgotten (or repressed) it. But it doesn't half take the edge off the pleasure of supporting the club at times.

When did this rubbish start?

When, how and why did it become acceptable?

Why do we tolerate it?

What sense is there in it, and what purpose does it serve?

There's always been a "two minute hate" aspect to live football, but I can honestly say that I generally remember it being directed at the oppo in the past, not at our own. Am I mis-remembering this?

Both teams in any football match are trying to win. Beating us is what the oppo are setting out to do. Sometimes, some of "our" "supporters" seem to forget that. Oh, and only one team can win. Sometimes they forget that, too.

Modern football, eh?

Sad to hear how quickly some of our fans can turn on the players.

Nothing modern about slating players mate. We’re often the most critical and harsh to the ones we love the most. It’s been a part of the game for over 100 years

Sorry mate but that’s spot on.
So you’re having a ‘like’

It's the written version of saying something without thinking, couple with the promise of little or no repercussions to what has been said.

As I've said for a long time, the beauty of the internet is that everyone has a voice. The curse of everyone having a voice is that a lot of people talk bollocks.
