We have alternatives to Waghorn and we have flexibility - if we don't spend on a striker we can spend on an attacking midfielder.

Then the loan window is open until the end of August. And there'll be a lot of loan activity this year due to the early closure of the permanent transfer window.

Well I know the apprentice to the corner flag maker. His job is to make the hole in the dresso for the corner flag to fit in so he has got his ear to the ground at BDTBL and he's sez he's not heard owt.

Me 2 I think he will be a good addition to the team, it said on talk sport the other morning if his 3m valuation is met they will sell not sure if he is worth that or what wages he is already on but fingers crossed wilder can russel up a good deal

I think Sam gallagher is too expensive for a plan C option personally, whether that be transfer or loan. We don’t play with a target man and our style doesn’t really suit it. I don’t want to pay over the odds for a lad who we bring on EEL or Hanson style in the last 15.

I don’t want hogan as he’s injury prone

I don’t want Waghorn for anything over 5m

Bring Freeman in and let Woodburn develop as a striker would be one option, but let’s not spunk money on someone that doesn’t suit our style or is injury prone.

Like Ricky has said either in this post or another there really is no rush to find another striker and there will be clubs begging us to take some players off throw wage bill on loan in the next few weeks
