One of dozens of strikers we will have made enquiries for. Hope nowt happens with this one, old, past it and doesn't have a good goal scoring record.
Fuck me.
Love that ominous “the targets are starting ... “ Luckily they aren’t and it is, as you suggest, nonsense.Wilder has earned the right to our trust... but I can’t imagine he’d contribute more than sharp or Clark and would emphatically not be any sort of long term solution for us. The targets are starting to look a long way short of what we were aiming for.
I’d Certainly pass on this one. He’s not a top end championship player any longer.
Hope it’s just nonsense
It's a bid to make Clark and bully look younger
Do I have to buy you diner?
Why don't we just buy Marriott ourselves??
Got to be cheaper than the ones were looking at and his wages won't be anywhere near as high??
Baffling.
Better players like...............Higdon?plan A Gallagher/Hogan/Waghorn/ and surely some we never knew
Hogan wages/Waghorn price / Gallagher waiting game-loans end 31/8
plan B Nugent / and surely a few more
Potential Loans : Palmer/Woodburn/Gallagher and others when prem.squads are set
5 mill bid for Waghorn, can't help thinking we could get better players in GermanyHolland/Belgium, fees for rather average players in the championship .......puuuh

They reportedly wanted 6.5 million. It might be beyond us but if the deal is heavily structured on games, goals, promotion etc. then I guess we can afford it more. Derby were supposedly keen on Marriot and now on Waghorn so maybe that opens the door for us.
At 8 million I'd say Waghorn is overpriced, considering he's only had two decent seasons in England. He's a player i would have loved to sign admittedly but I wouldn't expect us to pay that much. I find it incredably ironic that Derby are supposed to be reigning in the financial spending this summer so presumably only spending 8 million and a couple of loans is reigning it in by their standards. I still don't fancy them to go up with a rookie manager. Forest and Stoke are the two stand out teams for me, along with Boro.
Stoke and Boro for me.
Forest too much of an unknown. Yeah they've spent money...but the majority of it is on unknowns with no experience.
Karanka is a good manager though, hope I'm wrong though, can't stand Forest, although I begrudgingly respect their support as decent!
Stock piling young, fit players for when they're under embargo. Not involved at all today. Wonder if this is a sign? Not read any news on an injury. Personally not keen but he probably won't come anyway. No Cameron Jerome either which seems a real waste of a player who can definitely do a job at this level. Out of the two, if we went for one I'd prefer Jerome.
