Because there seems to be no reason to keep McGoldrick under wraps? We are fully aware Wilder likes him and it's pretty clear he will sign; it seems strange that he wouldn't just admit it on the radio.

It’s days like these that illustrate the Bladesfans’ Way. The reality is we intend to sign more players before the real season starts. One of them is Waghorn. It looks like we’re going to pick up a no-risk bonus in McG.

If the incoming player today is McG, that doesn’t begin to indicate that Waghorn ain’t coming, but that’s the way it will be portrayed by the numpties, knee-jerkers and Agenda Brigade. Tell me I’m wrong?
