I put Waghorn top, middle and center of my wishlist late last season. He run us ragged more than once.

I will be delighted if we sign him.

I trust the people doing to bidding and negotiation to not destabilise the mid to long term security of the club so, honestly, couldn't care less if it's £7m or 1 pence.
Great point buddy.

"Not heard owt herb. but Waghorn is a case of crossing the Ts and dottin I's. Hopefully his agent dunt phucked it up."

"McGoldrick as been offered a deal just wages to agree to. plus one more coming ,who i don't know."

I just can't get my head around the possibility of Wilder spending £10m on Egan and Waghorn after spending so long haggling over small amounts for the likes of Leonard and others.
Ricky, why do you get so fixated on hypotheticals and guesswork? you have no idea what happened with the RL move, you just think you do.

The footballing circle of life in the modern era... get shafted by an agent (Brooks), a few weeks later an agent shafts for us (possibly)

I detest agents

That we'd be spending a huge amount on Egan and Waghorn isn't guesswork.

Everything reported about Leonard indicated our valuations weren't far off yet it still took 2 full transfer windows to complete.

Never understood the phrase crossing the TS and dotting the is', help appreciated haha

He had all these things last year too but Wilder didn't fancy paying 400k for him!

Anything could have happened. We know wilder has picken to Mick about mcGoldrick so I am sure he would have spoken to him about Waghorn. Maybe Mick saw a change in.attitude or a way to buy in.

We could afford to wait on Leonard. As proven he’s anot a fixture in the side. Both Egan and Waghorn instantly improve and are needed now. Leonard or Holmes were never in that category
