ironic really as building it was a significant factor in him leaving for Leeds, as we spent money on that rather than reinforcing our squad and building it around our Tony.

I look forward in 40 years time to us announcing The Jamie Murphy Pitch ahead of our preseason friendly against Barcelona.

I've sat in the Paul Beesley seat in row AA of the South Stand for several seasons now.

Whilst not wishing to detract from the sometimes outrageously funny responses on this thread , can I just say that this accolade is both thoroughly deserved and long overdue.

Tony Currie was one of the finest players I ever had the privilege of watching play for any team , let alone the Blades and it is entirely fitting that this has finally been recognised by the club .

I hope this is going to be done right and I mean proper signage like the Brian Clough stand at the City ground or Sir Alex Ferguson stand at Old Trafford. I don't want some cheap sign stuck/painted to the inside of the SS like the Blades badge is.

Toilets were broken, but was fixed by the Conor Sammon spanner

The front doesn't have a proper sign yet, just a tarp, has a plaque though, but I feel like it will because elsewhere they've done a really good job of it. Looked like it's had a good lick of paint on the inside parts.
