True isn't it, Rangers binned him because he was shyte.
Shyte in an apparently shyte League, no wonder we are interested in him

Go on, piss off, you fecking Wendy retard!

Surely you Wendyites don't need to be on here to soothe your massive egos? That is, unless you're shit-scared that Wendy has just spunked the best chance she had in the last 2 decades of getting back to the Premier League and is now rapidly sliding backwards, whilst the Blades are still forging ahead, despite your best hopes that we were imploding?

Got news for you buddy, we're not imploding, but Wendy are in desperate trouble!

I really can't fathom why someone would spend their time signing up to a rival team's forum and pretending to be a supporter. You've posted 111 times now on here. Have you seriously got nothing better to do?

Come on now, enough's enough. This guy's a pig no matter his protestations. Into the fucking sea with him.

Would be over the moon with this if it comes off. I was hoping we’d bid for him this summer. Seems exactly the type of player Wilder would like and won’t cost the astronomical amounts going for strikers at the moment.

His work rate is phenomenal, bit of pace about him, left footed for a bit of a difference and takes a cracking set piece.

His stats last year are unreal for a poor Ipswich side.

£4-5m for him would be a steal in today’s market. It’s his all around game (assists and set pieces) and work rate which put him far above Marriott.

He’d compliment our style so well and fit in perfectly adding some quality. The lad was on fire last season feeding off scraps and taking games by the scruff of the neck.

It’s a tough one isn’t it.

I like the idea of replicating the likes of Brentford and Peterborough. You can make some very good money that way. However, we have our academy to complement our first team and budgets. We’ve made quite a bit in recent seasons from it, and there’s no indication that won’t continue. Our model isn’t the same as theirs, but it’s very good, and will be the envy of many other clubs.

I think this year we really have to go for it. It’s not all or nothing, like certain clubs, but I think it’s as good a chance as we’ll have for a while. It’s the last season we can realistically expect to keep players such as O’Connell and Fleck, perhaps even Baldock... unless we get promoted.

I’m in the camp of getting in good players, proven at this level, who will contribute and improve what we had last year. We weren’t far away, and with players like this I really think we’ll be right up there this season. That’s a good investment in my eyes, and potentially a much better one than Marriott.

No doubt it's a gamble, but given our cautious approach historically I'd not be surprised if Wilder didn't have a plan set aside just in case things didn't work out.

But.....and it does seem that a calculated risk is what Wilder and the board have plumped for, if tried and tested players at this level are the difference between a further season in the Championship and gaining promotion then it will have been worth the gamble. The rewards that come with promotion will mean that although we'll have to compete with experienced Premiership teams, we'll also be in a position to try our hand at the top level. For me it's a win-win, we come down and we're followed by a large chunk of dosh, but if we retain our position in the Prem then it's further acknowledgement that we were right to take the gamble in the first place.....

Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself, as yet we've still to sign said players, but we have so few moments of hope to play with that I hope anyone reading this will indulge me if I dream a little.

Save your reactions, it’s Pork, reekes of it. Banno, McNumpty, Excalibur? All fit the bill.

Our warring owners must have made think that it was safe to crawl from under the stone. WRONG! :D

Who’ve the Pig’s signed yet BTW?

Poster doesn't rate Martyn Waghorn.

Response: "BAN HIM!"

It's not what he said it's the way that he said it, like he was frothing at the mouth raging and simply had to disparage and downplay.

What wrong with "hmm, not sure. Don't really rate him but he had a good season last season tbf"

My thoughts exactly... we never go the whole hog like this .., but here’s hoping

Have you got nothing better to do than check someone's message history just because you don't agree with them and are willing to accept shit excuses for the rest of your life
Plenty of likes in my 111 posts isn't there

I don't support Wendy, I've said this numerous times already
Sheffield United are a shit, backward football club who have barely had a very good player for 50 years, and won't buy one if he was given away free because his agent would want to negotiate the going rate in wages. When they occasionally stumble upon one from the academy he's sold before it's time to negotiate a grown ups contract

I don't have to be a Wendy to know that. Stop living in denial

Getting a bit worried now we might actually be getting a few decent players in.

The mask is starting to slip, and it was never fully on.

That's your problem, and where you and I differ
You think Martin Waghorn is a good player

I am worried about my own shitty little club
