Let's hope summats been done regarding getting served at half time. I go on the kop at the back and try to get in first, but it means missing the last 5/10 mins of the first half.
I see some fans still going back to their seats 10 mins into the second half. It's absolute mayhem and needs sorting. Everyone is crushed and getting irritable.
As i have been a Kopite for 50 years i wondered if this happened in any other part of the stadium.

Oh, and the pies could do with a bit more meyt in em!

I have a few beers before in Farm Road, watch the first half in its entirety, go for a piss at HT, watch the second half in its entirety, have a few beers after match in pub on way home and go home.
Nowhere in all this do I feel the need to purchase any of the overpriced shite served up at any of our "outlets/kiosks" ;)

Have enough to drink pre-match, and stop leaving your seat 10 mins before half time and obstructing the view of people who are there to watch the match, not get pissed. Simple.
My biggest concerns are making it to half time, and then making it to the bogs in time.

Usually manage both and never miss the start of the second half.

( I have occasionally had to go before half time but as yet I've never failed to get there in time. Age is catching up with me though)

That's one of the main reasons I miss standing at the matches . Back in the day you just pissed where you were stood - job done .

It's a big concern if you try to get to the bogs on time and "usually" manage it

Thought it was good when they had the sellers with backpacks on flogging bottles.. or have a bottle bar. First few matches are always a nightmare when they have loads of new staff on!

The ones who usually complain about getting served on the Kop are generally the same people who arrive at 3:15pm every match because they simply had to have one more pint at 2:55pm. They're the morons who fuck it up for the rest of us.

They should either arrive on time or fuck off to Meadowhall.

If you read it all the only target I have missed so far is the half time one.

Had a few hairy moments in the second half of last season though thanks to a UTA.

dear club
i have stopped buying stuff at half time because i have repeatedly missed the first ten minutes if the second half . even though in this period the away team usually score a goal :/ i think you should factor into your projected match revenue stream that THE QUEUE IS SO BIG EVERYBODY STOPPED FUCKING BUYING STUFF
true story ;)

How easy is it to provide food and drink for 25000 people in 15 minutes once a fortnight.

It's bad enough to provide toilet facilities, especially when there are MUPPETS who insist on coming in through the exit

door causing fuuuuing gridlock inside.

Is this what being "triggered" means?

Or just good old fashioned moaning?

Yeah but when the opposition sing 'you fat bastard', I always think they mean me and it makes me a little bit sad.

One of the home matches towards the back end of last year, we left the Kop 5 or 10 minutes before half time to get a drink and my mate gave me his half-time drinks voucher while he went for a piss.

Mate comes out of the toilets and joins me in the queue, and the (already pissed up) guy behind us starts having a go. "Oi, no pushing in. Get t'back fucking queue". Explained we were together, and I was collecting both our drinks. We got a load of abuse back, we just ignored him and left him to it.

Just as half time goes and it starts to get really crowded we got to the front of the queue, hand over our vouchers, get our pints and are just leaving when we hear the guy from behind say "What fucking vouchers? What do you mean I can't pay here? Look at the state of the queues now (followed by a load of abuse to the staff)". We almost pissed ourselves laughing at him. :D

I usually start drinking at 11ish . Go in the ground for about 10 past 3 and then leave at 20 to 4ish and start drinking again .

I've never understood the clamour to get a pint in the ground at half time .

So you admit to breaking the law by entering the ground intoxicated then :(

;) you remember your posts I take it

I’m still waiting for Fleck to sign for Huddersfield. :)

I love a wind up merchant. :)

Here's an idea. Sell booze at the top of the kop as well as the bottom, and have a couple of vendors selling only bottles from coolers.

To conform with the ridiculous "not within sight of the pitch" law, ban supping directly in front of the gangways.
