Not much to report on here other than those that are hoping for a deal/s to be announced early next week might be disappointed since it seems nothing is agreed yet - bids in place was as good as it gets. No bid in for Simon Moore though - yet.

Bit too soon for the local media to have picked up on it.

Probably more surprising he didn't ask about the boardroom situation and how much money he has to spend. Especially as he was talking to the owners regarding the Brooks money.

Well he still seems positive about bringing better quality players in so I'm feeling a bit better than I have last few days. Worrying about a weakish side for the start of the season.

We have 3.5 weeks to get some bodies in... 3.5 weeks ... let that sink in... I don’t care what the other clubs in the leagues are doing... if we don’t get people in soon the competition will only get fiercer the nearer to window close and in our case when the tough get going we ‘ tried for a few but they slipped through the net’ ... in my experience we either get business done early or not at all.
