Hello all women supporters, Jan of Essexblades here. went to club shop saturday to look at womens team shirts and was very dissappointed at the sizes. its taken a long time for us to have a decent choice apart from always having to buy mens ones. At a size 14/16 i dont class that as being big, but after looking at their size 18 it still wud'nt go anywhere near me, and then there was nothing over a size 18, surely our slightly larger ladies wud want to buy 1 if they could. i think its about time we let our voices be heard to try and get this sorted. Please let me know ur opinions.

I don't like the ladies one, stripes are funny on the shoulders so I decided to get the kids large one 30 quid :)

They're too short in the body for anyone who isn't a midget either.

At 5 foot 7, I'm hardly a giant... yet the shirt barely skims my navel. I'm waiting for the inevitable all-over-pink look before taking it back and getting a kids one.

You ladies never buy any kind of top that's long enough to avoid the 'burst sausage look' if you lift your arms even slightly, then you have a moan at this. The other week Mrs Disorderly comes downstairs walking strangely, and had me reaching for the phone to see what the Guinness Book of Records has for the biggest 'muffin-top'. Then, in obvious discomfort, she says, 'Look, I've got into these old size 14 jeans'. Honestly! You all do it, so pack in moaning...

I do love my ladies fit shirt... I think it's best thing they've ever made.

HOWEVER, I normally take a size 8, and had to take a size 10 (think I know why....), however they are quite tightly fitted

You have given me a fine idea.

I may send an e-mail to Hillsborough purporting to be a disgruntled Wednesdayite, saying i have been down to the clubshop to buy my nearest and dearest a Wednesday shirt and they didn't have any size 24-26 shirts

Is the answer "chips"..?

On Porktalk the other day there was some chump moaning that they had 0-3mths baby clothes, and 6-9mth baby clothes in the Pork Shop, but no 3-6mth which includes his 4mth old child. Apart from dressing kids in Wednesday clothing being something you can phone Childline about, does he think his kid is going to stay the same size..? Does he still look at the label on his pants to see how old he is? Some people...

Quite simple really. The ladies shirts are a tight fit to show your body line, hence no size 18 because nobody needs to see that :D Besides there are a couple of "women" who are frequently seen at United matches in tight fitting men's tops. Not a pretty sight.
