Well done England ...

You've clearly missed the point.

No. I got it and thought it was a poor one. The Brexit democracy loving hypocrites who want to deny a public verdict on the shambolic ‘deal’ being done by these truly incompetent Tory Nigels.

The loony little Englanders have had their two years of fame. Time to give sanity a chance.

You're for democracy, yet everyone should vote for what you want.

Again, is this intentionally ironic.

Democracy Killers?

Is this supposed to be ironic?

The unelected EU troika happily acquiesced to the mass murder of a million people in Iraq.

They also deliberately plunged Greece, the jewel in the crown of European civilisation into abject poverty.

The EU are tyrannical, anti-progressive scum, supported by many willing, odious lickspittles on this isle.

You've not heard of Democracy Killers before?

It's the winning side on a referendum and an unfortunate series of events occurring in Parliament thereafter that stop the losing side getting their own way and thus resorting to stereotypical insults as a badge of honour.

The most galling thing for the intellectual elite was that this was apparently masterminded by a bunch of racist fascist morons who didn't have a clue, backed up by millions of likeminded people across the nation, something to do with a "majority" ( a now thoroughly discredited political term meaning "shouldn't count" "It's not fair" or some such whiny rubbish)

Yours, a Remain voter.

The lives of a decent Labour MP or two is a price well worth paying, I suppose. We can’t suppress crass nationalism indefinitely.

I didn't vote, I'm not on the electoral role there anymore, however:

If REmain vote won, I believe most would accept.

If Brexit won, the Brexiteers were uneducated, fascist, cunt jobs.

Says a lot for the Remainers if you ask me.

Quickly edited before I was ridiculed :D

The aberration of June 2016 was a snapshot in time. We do not govern by referendum. We are a parliamentary democracy. Cameron gambled with the best interests of the nation to appease the Loony Right. He failed to realise the depth of xenophobia in the nasty element of our land and the pent up frustration of the Sun reading flag-wavers.

There are now more than enough people with sufficient common sense to realise they’ve had their little protest vote and they didn’t begin to appreciate the full social, economic and political implications of their folly. Why would they? The Daily Mail ignored the difficult bits.

The result would be very different tomorrow. That’s why panic referenda, especially those born of the perceived self-interest of the loathsome Conservative party, ought to be avoided.

Farage, Johnson and Mother Teresa. Brought to you by Brexit.

I voted remain on a purely economic grounds because of the obvious financial upheaval the country would suffer, and of the faint hope that the UK would negotiate with the EU, particularly over certain immigration laws. Remain lost, and now it seems that leavers appear to have voted for open season on "decent" Labour MP's.

The life of a decent MP from any party is important. As is any life if truth be told. The death of anyone due to terrorism is a tragedy in fact.

Racism and fascism as is conclusively evidenced in the cases in point. I had you marked as a bright enough person to realise that and compassionate enough not to be an apologist for right wing scum. Forgive me.

Why the quotation marks? Are there no such people within your contemplation?

Again down to the ignorance and stupidity of a section of the electorate. But during the General Election many students voted for Corbyn on the mistaken belief that their student loans would be wiped of. Thus we have a selection of the electorate that didn't know there arse from their elbow. Seeing as these peope at university will include our future leaders, academics and professionals, that's far more worrying for the future of this country than whether a few right wing nutcases become MP's.

Obviously I've written off an entire section of voters as being thick here, but that's how it works isn't it?

As an educated man yourself, can you point out where I have been an apologist for right wing scum? Remember you aren't in court.

You used the word "decent". Had she not been decent, it would have been just as terrible surely? Same as if it had been a "loathsome" Tory MP? Or is there some difference between people murdered because of their political views?

Without doubt, I'm pretty sure another referendum would see a different result, but is that down to a change in the thought process, or down to the monumentally fucked up ongoing trade discussions 25 months later of Mother Theresa.

Quite a big club it seems. My grandma was from Cork.

I certainly don't do the St Paddy's Day plastic stuff. Culturally its not my bag.
Born in England of English born parents so only fair I support England. This uber cool nationality shopping is bollocks of the highest order.

Nasty little nation.

Show me a nation that doesn't have it's own share of scumbags.

Stalin was responsible for millions of dead too as was Mao. Doesn't make Hitler any better though.

Stop equating a few hundred neo fascists to the whole nation. It is risible nonsense and you know that well.

A lovely day for trollling though. ..

I don't think he does in his blinkered little world.

Well, Uruguay have gone and with that, my chance of winning the sweepstake at work.

Still, their fans can be proud of their country after this years showing. I know I would be if I was Uruguayan.

Fantastic, Just Fantastic something i never saud before in England in a semi final Id guess Unless you are over 35/36 no one remembers an england World Cup Semi or 30+ for any england semi final & after Costa Rica & iceland i wondered if we would get back

Everton fans wouldnt want to hear this. But there are few huge clubs in PL & europe. That are looking for a new Goalkeeper. pickford is impressing many of those clubs i bet. & Sterling had a good game but i wish he stop trying to be a hero at all times & all that 1st half, trying to do everything himself when better option was to pass. Going on to potentially Croatia i still worry about our defence. Better teams would force it open & i thought that is where our run might end. With modric rakitic & mansukeic

Proper professional performance today. Maguire was immense, just a shame we didn’t sell him straight to Leicester as a cut of what he goes for next would put the summer transfer income up to about £18m.

My lad now wants to go to Moscow this week, I’ve found flights and the wife says I should take him (didn’t expect this permission). Chances of a match ticket will go up if the Croats can knock Russia out. Ball_Sup (Phil) will be over the moon at his WC final ticket as it stands.
