Well... it doesn't actually say they have two new strikers coming in. Just reiterates that it's what we're after.

Though I have no doubt that bids will be...

Wit must advice him about putting bids in

Charlie Wyke and David McGoldrick.

Because wages.

I don't want DCL but him and Gallagher would cover the two things I reckon Wilder knows we lack.
Pace and a target man.

What makes you so sure? Has it been publicly announced?

Probably through the family.

I know his God mother and have met his mother a number of times.

If I saw her today I'd probably ask the question.

And I'm not even remotely close to the family in any way shape or form, so I'm sure there must be plenty of Blades who could know this from the family.

Nothing will happen till transfer deadline day then will see whose not got fixed up.

I just wondering why this has been posted. Already reported , nothing new.

Charlie Wyke would be my guess due to wages.

Can't see us going for Wyke and Gallagher as their fairly similar and as Wilder said we won't be looking into Leagues One and Two as much I'm guessing Wyke isn't likely.

He's being linked with PNE, Bolton and Wigan apparently.

I'll throw a list out there of signings that I think could be realistic;

Gallagher
McGoldrick
Sinclair
Wyke
Moore
Baldock
Bradshaw
Vaughan
Armstrong
Bogle
Ward

Basically good league 1 strikers or unwanted championship/ just promoted to the Prem strikers or a loan of a young PL player. I don't thoth the oncreainc budget or Brooks money is going to really change the market we're shopping in.

Reasons why one of them isn’t going to be DCL.

1) His wages
2) He played more than enough games in the Premier last year
3) There will be more better placed clubs than us who will want his services
4) He won’t want to take a step back in his career

If there’s anymore that I’ve missed you can add to it if you want.

He isn’t coming back to the lane.

To be honest that is slim pickings.... There’s not one of them that’s you’d could say with confidence would be a success imo. I’m not convinced half of them are any better than what we have.

Baldock and Danny ward might be attainable. Think Gallaghers wages are going to prove to be a stumbling block. I would have thrown Mcburie in there but can only see Swansea using him in the championship.

With that in mind do you reckon we’d be as well trying to look abroad and take a gamble - a chunk of change to a less ‘financially secure’ league might get us a better player with more affordable wage demands. Though it would be a gamble it Worked out ok for the likes of Bristol city and Brentford previously.

Either that or a loan is looking like our best option to me.

Got to say none names mentioned excites me , in fact it be been a rather underwhelming closed season so far. Whilst ever McCabe and the Prince are around I don’t feel any forward direction is possible. Hope Wilder hasn’t been bought, just to keep the club ticking along whist the pair squabble about who owns what.
