I just think the manager's long term good mate might want to be a bit more coy on some things.

Having a go at JVW on Twitter like he did for instance doesn't seem to be the best idea when it wasn't obvious what his intentions were, and it's well known you're the manager's bezzie.

If I was CW, I'd certainly want him to be a little bit quieter on some topics at least. I get the impression he revels in the attention he has got since CW became manager.

Selling JOC, would be a bit of suicidal move. He's part of the spine on which our recent success has been built on and a cult hero with the fans. Very, very difficult to replace and it would be a complete body blow before a ball has even been kicked.

It doesnt always depend on if the player wants to go. Players are under contract and can only leave if the club sanctions it. There are many situations where a club can (and will) stand in a players way (for example, bids close to the window shutting leaving little time to replace, or if there are too many injuries etc).

I hope this is just a rumour as a number of posters seem to think it is.
