All these rumours re Fleck and JOC may just be rumours and if they are true it proves we've got.players that are more than capable of.playing in the premiership.

The biggest.positive will be us telling the bidders to f off !

You do know that the Fleck rumours are nowhere other than on here, made up as an attempt to wind people up, don’t you?

No invitation needed. Knees are primed and prepared. Ready to jerk at a moment’s notice.

It’s the Bladesfans’ Way.

It’s an interesting question as to what we should do if Fleck and JOC are subject to multimillion bids. Obviously we initially say no, but if the players want to leave (and why wouldn’t they for the chance to play premiership football and become very wealthy), then what are our options?

Up their salary again?
Tell them they can leave at the end of the season?
Accept the bid if the player’s determined to leave?

It’s not an easy situation if a player really wants to go. You’d hope their character is such they’d continue to perform if denied a life changing pay day, but we saw with Michael Brown how ineffective a player with itchy feet can be.

4 sets of people involved here
1) the player- a Hunger to play at the highest level possible, and as money makes the world go round, to earn in a short career the best living possible.
2) the agent - to secure your player the best contract at the highest level club possible
3) the football club - to have players who want to be here, whilst appreciating their desire. Failing that to get the best possible deal to move the club forward
4) the fans- to support the club that was their before our birth, and will be there after our death

as i see it that's (football) life.
every box ticked

if Brookes has a good season and spurs/arsenal come knocking with a £40m bid and a £80k per week contract hell be moving again.
nothing personal, that's life
suck it up buttercup.

I don't believe that Jack or fleck will leave this season. It's all twitter nonsense and drama queens on this board
