Now at the considerably shitter kick-off time of Friday 6th July at 7:30pm.

Maybe due to "police advice" in case of clashes with the Stocksbridge firm or maybe because Sky are really taking the piss this time.

Who knows?

Due to growing fears about home fans OAP beatings & uptipping of wheelchair bound home supporters SYP have moved it again to 7:30 am on Friday , attendees must surrender their passports , have a letter of permission from their parents / guardian or Si psychic sign off by an accredited clairvoyant or spiritualist and have their conduct stamped by their teacher & have amassed 500,000 loyalty points

The only real attraction of pre season friendlies is to get a first look at the new signings and seeing as we’ve only made one and he’s a keeper I don’t think we will be judging much from a game against Stocksbridge.

Get yourselves in The Friendship*. A guaranteed warm welcome on a balmy, Friday evening from the locals.

*I have no idea if that shithole is still open or not...

Nearest pub to the ground is the red grouse, it’s about 8 minutes walk away...

Just letting you know that half of the bar upstairs will be closed to the public “members only” in the pool room..

So if you don’t fancy quiueing up them stairs for an eternity, might be best to go onto the grouse for a couple beforehand..

It'll be good to see how the team our doing with Brooks, Fleck and JOC. Not to mention if the name and numbers make the back of the shirt look any better.

If it is still that Sam Smiths piss , drain cleaner probably tastes better . 8 minutes walk along Hell-fire pass (kenworthy road ) that is

Much better choice is the Castle at Bolsterstone.

Has it been rearranged to find enough trialists to fill the spots missing by all the players we are selling next week?

All jesting apart, 'IF' England progress tomorrow it will be shown to be a sensible decision.

Bit shit for stocksbridge mind. We were expecting up to 3k on the Saturday for a big pay day. Be lucky to scrape a thousand on the Friday night. Get yourselves there, beer and blades in the sun, what’s not to like :)

Yeh seems a bit daft to me. Surely they could have delayed the descion until after tonights game. It's a shame they have missed out financially as I would have thought that they were expecting a good payout from this fixture.

Shame for Stocksbridge but with it being a big payday for them they should've had more foresight.

Why can't they just move it to Sunday? There aren't even any World Cup games that day, let alone an England game.

The Friday time clashes with Belgium v Brazil, and I'm not missing that (go on, bite me).

Would be more tempted to go if we had some new signings to see.

Think I'll save my Stocksbridge visits for U23 games where I can have a look at the next prospect we'll undersell.

United fly to Portugal on the Sunday. It was either Friday or miss out completely.

Was hoping it'd be Sunday, didn't realise that's when we were flying out to Portugal though. Will have to give it a miss as I'd rather watch Belgium v Brazil.

Although, I'm going to a funeral on Friday so I'll be in the pub from dinner time and therefore probably far too pissed to either see the World Cup match or go to Bracken Moor.
