Well I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt and all that. However, that has been completely weird and bizarre and a text book exercise in lack of self awareness. I have never before considered an ignore button as being worthy of me on the basis that if I don't have the intelligence and intellectual capacity to debate properly then I shouldn't be on a forum or be bothered or upset by a poster (Pinchy included). I am however considering ignoring a poster not because of abuse, nor trolling or similar, but simply because his self righteous arrogance, holier than thou superiority complex driven, oneupmanship look at me posts (in excess of any capable of being posted by Cerebus) just do my head in. It quite simply hurts as it is so unreasonable and I can't cope any more. There is simply no way out. It really is like debating the meaning and relevance of omnipotence with God.

Well put. This internecine squabbling has got to stop. WWF constantly talks about sharks, but earlier in the thread the only sharks were him and our local hack who were ripping Sean to bits for no good reason (in the Star, on the website, WTF) and for several pages.

I would usually defend anyone's right to say what they want on the forum, but that was not debate it was victimisation. Just because you don't swear in your replies does not mean that this is not a form of bullying.

Perhaps Sheffield Forum would be more suited to WWF. That is full of self righteous knobs.

Please read the thread and regard Sean's posts re Danny and me, including his interventions on the theme of this thread which I started.The o.p. was a follow up to my recent campaign for fans to be more pro-active in organising coordinated campaigns when the owners need a push in the right direction. Can't be right or wrong on that obviously nor the contribution fan 'noise' made to the outcome. What was I wrong about? Having an opinion? Trying to build strength of Blades fans in a civilised and effective way? Would you prefer us to do it the West Ham way and interrupt ganes and siege the directors box during games? ( even though it worked for them!).

Since I put him on 'ignore' months ago Sean has grown used to writing whatever suits him re my posts. I have challenged him recently on two threads where he has made a whole string of false points, very embarrassing for him and yet you have supported him on the very threads he has been so out of order and proven so.

I'll quote all the posts if you wish but have a read at your pal's trail of mis-information and attempts to discredit the o.p., all of which he was unable to back up. Your 'esteemed' 'emperor wears no clothes' when it comes to his standards when he has been trolling me.



You will find you can't defend him on this occasion as on the thread about the club valuation etc.

P.S. As regards 'not being flavour of the month' on the forum. Have you ever thought how few sharks there are amongst the whole membership of the site? How many times such as @ShockingBadBuy and @Pierre's PC chip in whenever they can? Have a look.

In my view Danny and Sean both love a good argument and are highly tenacious when they get their teeth into something. There is often valid points made on both sides.

It doesn’t seem fair to categorise Danny with WWF. Danny is persistent in making his point but doesn’t strike me as self aggrandising and egotistical.

Sean was the aggressor towards me and made false comments. I had every right to respond which is all I did by mainly asking Sean to validate his comments and proving him wrong each time.
