Just under 17000 sold, not sure how many we will shift on general sale,Kop tickets for adults go up to £423 and south stand/John St,£551

That means that c5000 must have renewed when the deadline was extended - quite an achievement given that there was no chance of getting promoted by then!

Including the half season ticket sales did we not have around 20,000 come January?

I’m sure when the season started last season we had just under 18K seasons ticket holders.
Then at Xmas over 2000 fans bought half season tickets taking the total to over 20K.

It’s not bad when you consider we only have to sell another 1000 tickets before the season starts to beat last seasons figure.

Out of 2K fans who renewed at Christmas, I wonder how many have gone on to buy full season tickets??

Great response. While ever matchday walk up prices are sensible, I'll not rush to buy a ST. Prefer picking games, even if overall it works out more money for the 15-18 home games I attended this season. Happy having the choice of backing away if we capitulate in blades fashion or just have a shit season .

We had around 18k at the start of last season and a further 2k after Xmas.

Not had a big drop really considering the current arseing about on the board.

Season ticket bagged for the zillionth time. Makes no difference what happens with Wilder or the football, it has and will always be about the day out. That, and doing my bit to support my club, no matter what.
ah .. it's me having a flounce. ' if CW isn't here i'm not coming anymore' type of bollocks :D i'm sure big Kev is quaking in his boots .. not.

It’s no drop at all, given the season doesn’t start for months.

Renewed mine when they first went on sale. Same seats, near to baldy, beardy, tardy, maximum disruption, fans with bladder problems. .
Mine went down over £100 due to me being an old fart.

Bargain!

Baldy, Beardy and tardy will I’m sure be glad to be sitting near the old fart again.

Anyone know what's the process if you want to move seat - can you do it online or do you need to ring up?

I presume they'd have to send a new card as well would they, as it has the seat no printed on it - or can they just upload the new seat info to it?

Wouldn’t surprise me if we end up with more than last season then. Gonna be a right scrap for tickets for the big games for anyone that doesn’t get a ST

If only we had a 2nd tier on the south stand, we’d get everyone in. It can’t come soon enough in my book. ;) Anyways I’m off to the etihad, so sod the lot of yer! :D

I stand to be corrected but my impression is that , the season tickets section of the online booking/purchase system having been REMOVED , it will not appear again until Friday morning when season tickets can again be BOUGHT.

So the ONLY thing that the ticket office can do with season tickets for the period Tuesday to Thursday inclusive is to MOVE existing season ticket holders AROUND.

Therefore my guess is this will NOT be possible online.
So in order to know which seats are available , you will have to pop down or phone up.
Because it's a 3 stage conversation :
1. Find out if the seat(s) you fancy are available.
2. Tell them your existing seat(s).
3. They allocate your new seat(s) in the computer + cancel your existing ones (which then become available to other holders).

This would be far too complicated to allow punters to do it online.

Or even by faxing the famous Lane fax machine.

I think this is the first time they have set aside a specific 3-day period for "swaps".

It is an excellent idea , which gives priority to existing holders to swap , before opening up the unrenewed seats to the "Johnny come lately" new buyers.

Another triumph for our über efficient ticket office. It's all very well telling us we can join in the Great Season Ticket Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, but it might help if they actually told us the mechanisms by which it works. Nothing doing online, and impossible to get through on the phone (300 attempts and counting). Christ, it was easier getting through to speak to Noel and Cheggers on the original.

And it doesn't help that Sunderland keep clogging up the main switchboard asking to speak to "Christopher".

If you have to go into the ticket office in person to do it then fine (though it doesn't help us, we live in London), but at least then people would know what they have to do.

Grrrr.

Agree Wigan at home is going to be real carnage trying to get in.

Joking aside, I seem to recall us getting 22 or 23k versus Wigan in the 1982 season. That's 22/23k in the FOURTH division in the EIGHTIES? Who knew that Wigan were such big box office?

Couldn't get a ticket against them in 2007 either...

Renewed, same price, 379 quid with the online discount, can't grumble for that. Even though I can only make 15/16 games a season it's worthwhile.

The real winner is the old man who went to 8/9 games free of charge when I couldn't fly over last season.

The 'fart' bit is optional; except in the eyes of young ageists...

Trying to move seats is impossible online grrrrrrrrrr going to have to go to the lane to see if there is any seats I want available which if not means a wasted trip.:mad::mad::mad:

yaaaay will be able to stretch my legs out now got myself a seat on the end of a row and won't be next to the fat bloke and his Werther's originals, oh and the bloke half way down the row who comes in 5 mins late and goes for a piss 10mins before HT comes back 5 mins after half time and fucks off 10mins before full time.
