I think they’re probably more likely to keep Darren Moore because he just won manager of the month (somehow managing to conjure wins over Man U and Spurs plus coming back from 2-0 down v Liverpool, with a group of players who looked utterly hopeless under Pulis and Pardew) rather than because of the colour of his skin. Incidentally, I’m sure Pards will have no trouble finding another cushy job once his latest severance pot runs dry...

Just hope to f... it isn't here.

I expect there might just be a forum member who can claim The Hawthorns/Blundell Park double!

There must be plenty of Unitedites who've been to both grounds more than a few times. Bert for one.

Hundreds of us and I think I did both of them in the same season (86/87). I might even have stood next to Bert if Bert can remember a good looking witty cool guy*.

* Warning - some editorial 'discretion' my have been exercised.

We all remember. Very humbling day Si.

iv'e been several times, its a tidy ground and looks really small inside, one time i bumped into Paul Heaton on the away end (night game i think) came across as a nice bloke. We always stop off in Oldbury for the banks's bitter and sparkbrook for the curry. A good away day in my opinion.

Went there for the 1st game of the season following our promotion from the then division 3. Against all odds we spanked them 3-0, Deane and Agana were unplayable (and were for the rest of the season) and John Gannon put on a master class in midfield. Brilliant day, brilliant performance, brilliant season (best season I have witnessed).

Great away day that one BW remember it well , I like the hawthorns as an away ground though on my last visit I think we dipped 3-1 , Stoke & Albion will be two decent trips if you can get a ticket . If Carlos ‘s lot join em then that’s a ball acher of a trip

Forget about West brom, Swansea being touted as wilders new manager what happens if rotherham get promotion ? :-?

You can get a barge with a bar on it down to the ground from the centre of Brum. Obviously full of Boing Boing Baggies, but get a block of Blades booking early and it could be a laugh. I’ve done it twice - and caused a small riot last time, as the local radio station were on interviewing people and when he got to me I pulled my sweater off to reveal a Blades shirt!

Definitely joining us in the Championship next season. A new away ground for me. Is it a good away day (trivia fact, it is the highest ground in the English league)?
I had thought they would struggle next season, but they have shown a fighting spirit in recent weeks.
I realise every thread on this forum has to mention Wilder's future so..... will he go to West Brom and be their next manager?

Only been once. Was about 10 years ago, awful game but we won 1-0 with a last minute winner. Can't for the life of me remember who scored it. Decent ground though. Good view where I was just behind the goal to the side

Actually just checked it was 2001 ffs!!!!! Carl asaba with the goal

So when global warming has led to sea levels rising disastrously, the Premier League will consist of nothing but endless series of matches between West Brom and Oldham... It will be even less interesting than it is now.

Oldham is the bloody coldest I've ever been to..apart from Hibs in new yearsday a few years ago..that was-6 coming out of the station...luckily Raul gave me a cuddle. .and whisky...lots of whisky..and a hoof pie...
