Well ,now you've said that..I'll have my two'pennoth..
Wilder won't leave..it's the media wots putting two and two together.Leaving his dream job to join a lge one side ?Nah..not happening ,no way.
He's just testing the water with his comments, even today he's backed away,saying no more comments about his future.
He would be advised though to not to go overboard with any more comments, a la Northampton speech...this is SUFC,not a li'l lower league club, (all respect to them though )

As a Sunderland fan I can state that there is no evidence whatsoever that Wilder is leaving Sheffield United to join Sunderland. Not sure where this has come from other than people putting 2 and 2 together and getting more or less than 4. In fact I'm not sure why he would leave The Blades to come to a basket case like SAFC who have a track record of ruining managers careers.

As it stands - not happening.
