There is something bugging Wilder.

None of us know what it is. It's not just his salary, I am 100% certain of that.

The prince is not inspiring our manager, "one of our own".

Who cares? Me.

My shoes are primed ready if such a thing should occur.
Back to league 1 if wilder leaves, Mark my words.......
 
As a Sunderland fan can I ask blades fans what they make of chris wilder please.
 
Can I have an option that says "I hate modern football, and it's stupid money obsessed ways, and will be taking up another pastime instead?"

That’s a bit harsh. I’m only asking people’s opinions.

I liked Coleman but his results were poor.

Thanks for that. Yes he seems to have a very good reputation and the blades fan I know in the ne says much the same.

He's either the best thing to happen to us in years, one of our own and destined for a great career who has been shit on by the club. Or, an untrustworthy heavy drinking club patsy at first but has now revealed his true character, an untrustworthy greedy twat interested only in money who is shitting on his boyhood club to whom he owes everything good in his life.

I believe it depends on which medication you forget to take.

Frankly I think that they are a disgrace. However it’s typical that they represented safc who are undoubtedly atm a basket case club. I’m very disappointed at the state of safc.

Talk of his departure has clearly gone down badly but he hasn’t as yet left.

He is obviously a very good manager and has done really well at Bramall lane.

Speculation/ opinion.

This is a forum.

I repeat "I am 100% certain It's not just a salary matter".

Wilder is a Blade. He'll do it to feed his soul. To please fellow Blades if you like. It's worth a lot of cash to him, maybe more than we will ever know.

Thing is, folk being what they are, if he gave up the chance to double his salary and then he had a bad start to next season, you just know what our fellow fans would be like on here and at games.

He can't rely on us. We are not even showing him our 'love' right now.

I wouldn't blame him for wanting to be more emotionally detached from his club's fan base in an ideal world.

I think right now is the time to show him we care about him and want him to stay. Help him in his tussle with (my guess) the prince.

Let's show the prince we welcome him but only if we give Wilder a fair crack at the goal.

We all knew what your opinion was over a week ago. Now its just repetitive rhetoric. For someone who professes to bang the drum on behalf of our Manager you haven't listened to what he's been saying. He doesn't have a problem with either owner so why the constant anti Prince digs?

Are you sure that Wilder isnt using the McCabe/Prince problem as a smokescreen?

That is a very good point.

The simple answer is the Van Winkle thing.

Another answer would be : " how can a Saudi prince understand S2, English football, our culture which Wilder displays every time he speaks, the value of serious experience about our game on modest budgets "

If he plans to throw £60m at the club and fancies Van Winkle to guide it, that's one way. I prefer the Blade way, with or without the big budget,I'm with Wilder.

McCabe told us Van Winkle could be a problem for Wilder.

That's just the sort of disappointing comment that undermines us right now.

You do not understand what makes Chris Wilder tick.

He's stayed with some clubs through loyalty when he could have moved on.

Do not look a 'gift horse in the mouth Blade. Understand his rhetoric . He's on our side.

Chris Wilder has never surprised or disappointed me ever. He is what he is and I am what I am. Blades.
 
Get on the new mangers back from day one and want him out by November.

Unless it’s Brian Deane then I will give him until Xmas.
 
I'm more than a little disappointed in Wilder, I think he's hijacked this McCabe/Prince unrest to buy himself some compassion from the fans. When he was asked about the situation by the shit stirrers at Radio Sheffield, he could and should have kept a dignified silence and stuck to discussing matters on the field only.

No one yet knows what next seasons budget will be or what the outcome of the boardroom disaffection might be, so why speculate with the media?

I've supported United all my life, if at any time, I had been offered the opportunity to play 90 minutes at any stadium in the world, without hesitation I'd say 'Bramall Lane'. Chris Wilder is also a lifetime supporter, he must have a decent contract, lives nearby, goes home every night and describes United as his dream job. He talks of old fashioned values, player loyalty, punches the badge on his chest to show his passion for the club and talks fondly of his time on the terraces, to ball boy, to player and now manager, and everything the club means to him and those who turn up week in week out.

From my own personal perspective, if he leaves for Sunderland, irrespective of what they're paying, after such a short tenure in his 'dream' job, he is nothing but a greedy, fucking mercenary and he can shove every ounce of goodwill he has deservedly accrued, as far up his arse as he can get it :mad:



* On the other hand of course, if he stays then I'll love him again ;)
 
I will be angry and maybe as disillusioned as I have been in my near 40 years watching us.

It won't stop or reduce my attendance at games but I genuinely worry where we may go with the fall out I expect if it happens.

The fanbase has been as together as it has for years over the last two seasons, but we will be as divided as ever if this happens imho.
 



Nothing.

Managers come and go like players come and go. That's football.

I'd be disappointed for a day and then move on.
