FANS ACTION.

It seems some are unaware of the following posts and an attempt to coordinate fans action.

After today's Interview it seems there is now an appetite.

I asked Foxy to consider something.

Maybe we can test opinion on here now.

Biggs' questions are spot on and so was my letter before that. Maybe a combination of the two signed by 5000 fans would surprise the prince enough to make him think about us fans.

The least we and the manager need is communication and information.
up there with Barney 's epic "why have I been banned" thread

1 fails to actually post the posts he's referenced.
2 Foxy seems totally oblivious to the instructions he's been given
3 5000 to sign a letter asking people we don't know to spend more of their personal wealth "investing" in paying young men silly fortunes to kick a leather ball about, so we can enjoy our Saturday afternoons a bit more. I'd sign it, cause I've nothing else better to do, but I get begging letters/e-mails all the time and none of them leave me in angst TBH

So

Nobody gave a shit when you sold your season ticket after 6 weeks of the season, but hey ho. Each to their own

I'm raging, apoplectic, incandescent....bouncing off the walls, and I will do anything to get answers.

Unless it means getting off my arse and out of my comfy chair.

I’m probably not far of my summer break. I’ve had one for the last 3 or 4 years (one not through choice),and when I do decide to have one, even thought you don’t give a shit, I’ll be sure to let you know, sugar tits x

Thanks sweetheart, luv u

Better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all.

At least keep making 'noise' Blades.

The manager is battling away for SUFC. He can do with some proper support.

No way he wants to leave. All he wants are the tools to do his job.

Sorry that some doubt his ability and his loyalty. Surprised in fact.

Wilder (and the media since) seem to have fuelled a fire.

Yes Wilder was right to say what he said last week

But Wilder ( in my opinion) needs to focus on his job now, he needs to realise when the time is right to speak his mind and he also needs to realise that when he speaks, he can not only be speaking his mind but also be potentially doing more harm than good.

I have absolute respect for the way Wilder speaks and the job he has done, I also think that some of what he said in his interview today was correct, there were other things that i thought he didn't really need to say.

Wilder knew when he joined the club in the last 2 seasons that the club isn't blessed with Billions, he confirmed this today.

The ownership discussions, whilst the outcome will impact the football club managers job, the discussions, timing and progress are between the owners and probably their legal teams.

McCabe said updated shareholders a while back which gave an insight. I am sure that the owners will speak when there is something to say.

Wilder has said his piece and he has let everyone know that he is not able to progress with his plans. It will be what it will be.

If all that means that Wilder is not happy and takes a decision to leave, then that's his prerogative.

Personally, now i feel that Wilder (and the media) pushing the agenda further is not productive.

Completely agree with that. For me that latest interview was “on the edge”. If we get the same “I’m ambitious” bollocks again, I’m sorry Chris but we don’t want to hear it. Shit or get off the pot.

I understand the sentiment, but I have to question what outcome you expect to achieve?

I don't think its also about the managers ability or loyalty, it would be silly to suggest that he's not wanting the best for SUFC, but just because the Owners aren't speaking to the local Media, doesn't mean that they also don't want the best for SUFC too.

We need to allow the processes surrounding the Ownership buy out take their course. Yes its frustrating, but by making noises, is it helpful or a hindrance to the process

Wilder is wanting a helpful budget to work with now.

My objectives were:

To back the manager plus seek re-assurance that the summer budget will not be delayed due to the owner negotiations
( which are none of our business) - that's all.

Not many can grasp that.

Sure, i get that, however, it maybe something which can't be helped, writing a letter may help you to deal with it, but it probably won't give that much of a boost to the manager.

And to be perfectly honest, Wilder might have to just accept that his budget is still going to be bottom 6 and Wilder may need to accept that he has to deal with that.

His interview yesterday was a little confused. I listened back to it. To start with he's giving it the big un about how he's not for changing etc, however he talks about all what he needs early on, but then later his message seems to be that we don't have much cash so we have to deal with it

Apologies to Addison for not replying directly to what you said, i am in agreement with much of your post btw

Sorry Swiss. I have to repeat that I'm not on about a fortune, just ready cash now. Enoigh for incrememtal improvement. That's all Wilder is talking about too.

Most critics on here misunderstand that point. Nobody expects to go bottom 6 budget to top 6.

As far as we know there is going to be an impasse, a lost summer. Seems Wilder is worried about that too.

That's all for now. In due course our manager might be vulnerable if the prince takes over. A fans'show of solidarity with him right now would show the prince we are behind our man. Reaction like some on hete shows we can't be added to show solidarity. We don't even want to show our manager we back him to the hilt.

Yeah i understand, but whether its a tenner or 10 million, if we ain't got it, we ain't got it.

I have little doubt that there will be a budget of some sort.

What i really think Wilder is close to the line on is that his comments are pushing the boundaries of what his role is. Yes he needs to push the club forward, but he doesn't own the club, right now he needs to stick with his remit.

If anyone was in any doubt about fans being behind Wilder when and where it matters then they are completely deluded.
