Keep playing this way next season and its back to League 1 with us.

I'm on holiday, so not seen or heard anything other than the BBC report. How bad was it? I'm assuming it was bad!

A bit like the Norwich home game.

Horrible time wasting opposition score with their first good attack. Evans, Blackman and Stevens all at fault.

We looked good in patches - it was better than last week - but their keeper made a few good saves from long shots, and we weren't consistently creative. We were ponderous in the build up too often.

And as usual, we had no luck.

On the plus side, we took 2 or 3 good corners. I know it sounds unlikely, but it's true!

I can see a theme forming....And I don't believe you about the corners. There must have been a strong breeze or 2 or 3 miss-kicks!

They were a bunch of cunts but defended well.

As usual we are just not clinical enough when we did get chances but our tactics are too easy for teams to defend. Wilder rarely has a plan B and that is why we are just coasting til the end of the season.

Whipped in at pace, good height, curling dangerously towards goal. Revolution jr and I were speechless!

Imagine being a Preston fan and having to watch that every week? What a terribly cynical, nasty team. They had 10 minutes of decent pressure at the start of the game and played absolutely no football for the next 80.

We didn't do ourselves any favours - not enough energy, and too often half a yard short with runs and passes. So not a great game all around, but Christ at least we tried to play football.

Who was taking them? Evans?

I stand to be corrected but Fleck I think. Evans was off by then.

Evans took a shocking one in the first half that went over all of our players and landed next to 2 Preston players, who mounted an attack from it....

Another game we shouldn’t have lost based on possession and chances - but then again, it wasn’t bad luck it was a lack of quality. Our final ball and decision making is woeful at times. And up front we were really poor again and never looked like scoring.

I fear a relegation battle next season unless we bring in far better quality than we did in January.

I thought we were Unlucky today & preston were fortunate bundling home a goal. I thought we Played very well in patches, was improvement from millwall & Birmingham of previous 2 weeks But luck wasnt there as Either didnt drop or Preston got a body in the way. So many chances that hit the head chest & leg in last ditch blocks

2nd half wasnt helped by Preston making the game niggly & scrappy. reminding me of Italian & Spanish gamesmanship, in their ways to slow the game similar to a juventus or athletico Madrid In champions league or europa league
