I think the ref said it didn’t go out. He put it down 3 times and then kicked it. Embarrassing officiating.

The linesman didn’t flag to say it had gone out so the Ref didn’t give it. I’m not sure why he should be telling their keeper to pick it up again though

Even if he hasn't given the goal kick, or an offside against Brooks, like you say, he's put it down, picked it up!

Had a good view and the ball didn’t go out. I think everyone was assuming Brooks was offside and waiting for a decision.

Can’t understand why the ref instructed him to put the ball down then allowed him to pick it up again. Oh, apart from the fact he was the most incompetent official of all time and has no knowledge of the rules of football whatsoever. I’m amazed he managed to tie his bootlaces.

I have witnessed a blatent deflected cross that should have been a corner given as a goal kick this season. So not much surprises me anymore, it only surprises me when they get decisions correct.
