Another enduring fallacy is that 'it's the Blades Way' as if serially fucking up is unique to United. I don't suppose there's any such talk on the Deby forums (currently doing their annual 'Devon Loch' impersonation) or Bristol City's? Or Leeds, Norwich, Wednesday, QPR, Sunderland or Hull?

Every team I've mentioned has spent far more than us and have every reason to feel let down. Disappointment comes with supporting every club. Three out of the four teams who get in the play-offs will be disappointed at the end of the season.

And probably 2-3 of those play off losers will sack their manager too.

Despite Ricky's best efforts very few of the "our fans are crap brigade" joined him. He dragged a very small response from out the club, who did him no favours it has to be said, but in this case, it IS, the fans who are to blame.

Ricky put his time where his mouth is. Lots of others just did it on this forum.

Very easy to vote in a poll etc, but when it comes to actually doing something.....? Nothing. The turnout was a joke considering the early indications. It highlights the complete lack of unity and real desire among our fans. It was publicised more than enough, but maybe they need the club to tell them what to do, which is a bit pathetic.

It'll be even quieter next season and the subject will crop up time and time again. I'll keep trying to do something to improve it and the same opportunity will be there with BLUT. But we'll need better luck and more people staying true to their word.

One thing that would help a lot is an online facility to move STs for individual matches. I'll ask the club about that but I imagine they'd rather just focus on #Forgingthefuckoutofit.

Should definitely be allowed to move a ST for a single game, have the buyer pay the difference for a ticket. Also freeing up their seat on the Kop/Cherry/Family. Makes no business sense to not have that facility.
