More so than for any other game this season, aside from the Sheffield derbies. I think many feel the same. It's a season defining game. Will be a genuinely good occasion and probably even a decent atmosphere. God knows why it's not on Sky...

A proper game of football is in store, one that could go either way with two sides giving it everything at the business end of the season. This is what it's all about. Savour it.

Here, have a rallying cry: We've got to be as loud and hostile as possible tomorrow. Limited drinking time is no excuse. One big reason Millwall are up there is because their supporters help make The Den a fortress. We need to make BL a fortress tomorrow. It'll be a hard game and we need every advantage we can get.

Win tomorrow and a huge amount of belief will return. Lose and it's all over for us... Bring it on!

Tomorrow is also one we need to win but a draw wouldn't end it just yet when you consider Millwall's horrendous run in, and assuming one or 2 other results might go our way.

As long as we don't lose we won't be more than 3 points behind 6th, as Boro are playing Bristol City. Then we'll have plenty of hope going to Birmingham next week, especially with Boro away at Derby, Millwall at home to Fulham and Bristol City at home to in form Hull. So with that in mind, if we win, we'll have a huge amount of hope all of a sudden.

We have identical home records and they've won one more away game than us - like it or not they have done an amazing ob and they currently feel invincible. I think it's going to take a Pigs away, Hull second half at home level performance to beat them. Every fucker make some noise and get behind the team.

I think it's going to take a Pigs away, Hull second half at home level performance to beat them. Every fucker make some noise and get behind the team.

We'll need to be at it, that's for sure. But 16 games unbeaten seems like a maximum for someone like Millwall and this is a typical game to end such a run.

This was in the Second Division (we finished 12th - Spurs finished 3rd!). Our manager for this game was 'Happy' Harry Haslam after Jimmy Sirrel and acting manager Cec Coldwell had started a season of mediocrity in 1977-78.

grafikhaus is correct. Bruce Rioch didnt play for us until a year later and played for us for a month in March and April 1979 (signed on transfer deadline day with Les Tibbott).

I wasnt at the 5-2 win as I was at boarding school but I remember my dad saying that our penalty award was quite controversial. Millwall's keeper had picked the ball up and wasnt happy with one of our players being near him and pushed him away. Ref then pointed to the spot. Millwall players surrounded the ref and protested at the decision. My dad said Woody was cool and calm waiting to take the penalty while the Millwall players were trying to get the ref to change his mind. Woody then took the penalty with great execution. Must have been similar scenes as near the end of last Wednesday's match between Real Madrid and Juventus
