The Crowd Tonight

F*cking superb! Don’t know if it was the return of warnock, the bank hol weekend or the results elsewhere but the Kop were class tonight. If we can recreate that atmosphere against the teams around us - Millwall, Boro and Preston we’ll be some team to beat at the lane.

There’s been some serious criticism of the crowd of late - I think expectations got to high after the start we made which has dampened things a bit on the atmosphere.

Let’a be having ya next Tuesday Blades against the Boro! UTB

It was silent for the first 30 mins, then we score and it was excellent for the rest of the game.

I think they nearly always air on the side of caution and lower the mics, I mean how many songs are actually clean?

I was on the Kop, directly behind the goal and even after 10 minutes
We all commented that the Kop seemed really loud, much louder than normal.
It had the feeling like we were playing in a really big match.
Good to hear the Kop finally return. Easily one of the best atmospheres of the season.

Plenty of us in full voice back there and a cracking atmosphere.

The first two of your comments were fair at times last night - despite what was a good performance (apart from the poor finishing). A quicker ball into the box would have been the better option at times.

Our fans were excellent last night, as they were at Brentford.
