That was so frustrating to watch. We had enough clear chances to score 6. I think this fares us well for next season though.

Looking at our results this season, I can only pick roughly 4 or 5 games where were deservedly beaten. 3 of those were by teams I fancy to go up. The Championship is far stronger this season than it will be next season IMO. We have what it takes to seriously push next season, but it is imperative that we keep our core and build, rather than lose a key player and have to replace, leaving us in the same position as before.

Unpopular opinion, I think we can afford to lose Brooks. He is an outstanding talent and a real prospect, nobody can deny that, but he has barely played this season and we've done fine without him. If we were to fetch a big fee and sign one or two quality forwards with that then I wouldn't be against it. Big if though! IMO Fleck, Baldock and O'connell are the players we stand to suffer the most by losing.

If I was John Fleck I'd be banging my head against a wall tonight. He was magnificent, drove us forward all game (especially second half), and created some great chances--only to be let down by poor finishing from his team mates. He deserved much better.

I thought he was poor first half. Other than making woods look like a cunt with the nutmeg, his ball retention was mixed, kept running down dead ends and he got carried a bit by Lundstram. Second half was excellent though.

We can still make the playoffs and if we can beat Cardiff on Monday. It'll be an interesting final 6 games!!.
The ownership saga needs sorting ASAP but that's not looking likely.

If we could sneak in to the play offs we'd definitely be battle tested and playing well. That's the only way we could get enough points.

That's the sort of team who often do well..... :)

I keep seeing people say this, and I keep asking the same question:

What on earth makes you think Wilder would get a significant portion of any potential Brooks fee to bring in the kind of quality you speak of? On what past evidence in this assumption being made?

If we sell Brooks in the summer without him even starting 10 games for us this season, I won't be renewing, and I'll happily stand by that.

Hence "big if though". I didn't assume that we would.

Boro losing 2 nil at home to wolves so we will only be a point off a play off spot so have halved the task

Had we won we'd be 5th so it's very very doable with 4 home games to come

To get better we need money and lots of it.

It’s down the board to decide there expectations.

Let’s concentrate on 5his season , yeh we all know we need some dough pumping in next season but still all up for grabs this season so get behind the lads
