It was fucking, and I mean fucking freezing on the BLUT today. The coldest I can ever remember feeling at a game. I normally love the cold but this was bloody crackers.

Row M in the Westfield is usually well sheltered but at times yesterday I felt like Leonardo Di-Caprio in The Revenant.

Unfortunately it wasn't bad enough to prevent me witnessing Leon's howler in the first half......I didn't think I would see a worse miss at the Bramall Lane end than a certain C Ronaldo.....but I have now.

You obviously weren’t at Reading the other week then...

Was the coldest I've remembered being at the lane in 30 years , in the Westfield corner it was bloody freezing , couldn't feel me legs from the knees down until half an hour after getting home !

Crap game also , I think the players would have been more than happy to see the ref blow for full time after 60 mins ,

Another game where sadly we could have still been playing now and still wouldn't of scored

i was sat in a box on the south stand, it was warm as toast.
i had my thermos and 2 packets of werthers
does my head in people who don't prepare then moan.

One lad was passing a bottle of whisky around. Now I know this kind of action at a football ground is on a par with being a serial killer, but fuck me was it welcome.

No, I know what you mean. Much better to freeze half to death watching us play badly and draw at home than play well and win away... ;-)

Personally I wouldn't say we played badly yesterday, just a frustrating day. Reading was a terrific win and performance albeit against an awful side.

On coldness, I think Derby away in about 2002 midweek when we lost 2-0 was the coldest I've ever been.

And the worst miss, Are Akinbiyi at the Kop end about the same area.

If Leon had been a defender, approaching at that speed and at that angle, it would have been the best clearance ever. In fact, it would have been a better attempt on goal if he'd missed it completely ☺
