I can see why there are struggling as they looked slow at the back and obviously lack a centre forward (Bent and Varney might have been ok 10 years ago but not now) but they gave us far more problems than I thought they would. Far better than Sunderland, Barnsley and Birmingham on their performances at The Lane

They were more threatening than we were first half. I thought they played quite well to be honest. Didn't look like a nailed on relegation team. They caused us more problems than the Owls did for example, and I must admit to feeling relieved afterwards.

I thought they played some decent football for periods. On the other hand, they had all the hallmarks of a Clough team. As soon as we went 1-0 up that was his game plan in tatters. Forced a couple of decent saves from Blackman but even though I'm guessing Nigel used the phrase "enough chances to get something from that game" I felt we were pretty comfortable.

We can all but hope but as shit as them lot are, over the course of the season there will be 3 teams who have been shitter. I’d love for them to go down but seeing Sunderland and Brum go down is a slight mood saver.

If they don’t go down please make them 4th bottom
