According to the press Webber is close to signing for Middlesbrough, also has Ipswich and Palace after him.

Strange how some of the supposedly "better" championship teams fancy him yet we let him walk away.

Problem with Webber is, he's only ever banging them in when he first joins clubs, if he goes to Boro, it's odds on he'll score on the opening day!!

Yeah, let's ignore his partnership with HMS Ship that got us promotion. And regarding the miss against Wigan... how long had he been on the pitch before hitting the post? Like Robbie said about being given a chance, I don't care what anyone says, he'd have scored that one elusive goal.

He might be another one of those who do little to impress us type of players but do far better elsewhere.

I think he may actually get played as a striker instead of winger with another club.

He certainly needs a change of scenery, and I also think he's better up front rather than wide. I like him, and thought he gave us an another wide option if we played him up front to start with, but wanted to put another striker on.

I'd be pissed off it was 'Boro who he goes to. I wouldn't be suprised to see Warnock sign him with Palace though. He's guaranteed to score against us when we face him again anyway.
