via live streams/feeds/Facebook.

As i cant get to many away matches and I think many of you watch using some of the above.

I spent about an hour last night trying to find a way to watch the Blades at Reading and gave up in the end.

Need help.

Search up Sheffield United Games Live on Facebook, all home and away games are streamed on there.

Or pay for the stream on iFolllow

.You need to be a member of the Facebook group -Sheffield United Games live, and request a fellow member to ask the Admin guy (Jason Lucas) to add you to the group. Dont attempt this during the game though - causes big probs. https://www.facebook.com/groups/sufcgl/?ref=br_rs Hope this helps. I can ask for you if you want

Never sure about that Facebook stream. Illegally streaming something where people sign up with their personal details. Isn’t that a fast track to getting your collar felt?

Watching a Facebook stream is fine, it’s the streamer that will get a ban but nothing else and that’s only if the game is on Sky. The law isn’t up to speed.

Is that actually true? Streaming iFollow isn’t illegal? I’m not so sure but you’re probably right!

Download Nord VPN, a program that changes your IP address to one in any foreign country of your choice, then sign up for iFollow and pay around £5 for the live match stream. I've done that for the ones I haven't been able to get to.

I picked up my 4yr olds tablet at 7.45 the other night and the bugger had logged into my facebook and found the stream. She was in bed so I left it on just in case it was a project for nursery

Did the same when I found my 15 year old had been watching porn on his i-pad. Obviously a school project and I take a keen interest in his learning.

In about ten years it will finally dawn on the tiny brains that run football that there is a large market for watching football on demand from people who can't get to a game for whatever reason.

Until then ingenuity rules in this digital age and you can start with the good advice above about facebook

I have signed up to ifollow and it' wasn' on sky or by or any UK tv .Still couldn' get a stream off ifollow ..joke..what' the point in ifollow????

I use iFollow fairly often, and I've never had any issues with it.

I don't even use a proper VPN like Nord. I just have a VPN Chrome extension.

Set it to USA, and sign up with your credit or debit card just with an American address. As long as you use a proper zip code you can make the rest up.

Works like a charm. It's obviously not Sky Sports Football 4K but it looks fine, works fine.

If I can't get to the game I'd rather pay the club, and while technically I'm probably not supposed to be watching it, I feel better about using a VPN than watching a Facebook feed, plus that group is a dumpster fire.

You can sign up with a uk address and card

Definitely UK card, mines in the UK. Didn't know about the address thing. That's even easier then.

I think it's a great service personally. I've been able to watch every game I've not been to except Ipswich in the cup.

If you subscribe for the season its a rip off, i will pay match by match next season

Yeah that's what I do, I only use it about once a month or so, so it didn't make sense. I also didn't want to bank on the VPN workaround working all season in case they had some tech people nip that in the bud.

Just to point something out, up until about september last year the european court had ruled that it was not illegal to watch streamed films or live football (to do with kodi boxes and adapted firesticks)but would be illegal to download films from third party streaming sites and sports, as you were watching live and the product was not being saved to a hard drive, only in a temporary cache. In about Sept last year the euro court overturned this decision and has now deemed it totally illegal to watch streamed films and footy games.
If you do a search you will be able to find both rulings.
right curry time.......

What about if you're paying the rights owners? Not sure if it's in law, but broadcasters don't show 3pm kickoffs in the UK, but if I pay iFollow where do I stand?
