I'm choosing optimism for this one.

Wilder can play golf with the Prince and sort it all out.

McCabe seems like the type that'd negotiate for the bogrolls being included when viewing a house so it's probably not going to be an easy negotiation which makes it worse for us all.

I do hope McCabe still has a role on the board though, or at least a nice seat reserved because he's been a great servant to the club. He'll probably get a statue eventually, a bust at the very least.

I was hoping that we were getting an investor from outside to buy both HRH and McCabe out and put in propper investment.

I just done think he is personally rich enough to take us to the next level.

I only look forwards. If this goes through our new owner will be a rich sports fanatic. He has been Sports Minister for his country, he is personally very rich and he has loads of even richer drinking (sic) mates.

Although him and his lot are pretty shit at human rights, all their dosh comes from the fact that they were born on top of loads of runny black gold - so at least it’s not like any money he spends on Neymar for us will have been generated in sweat shops full of kids.

Historically, things only go wrong when the spoilt rich kid owners start wanting to pick the team and play directly with their toy. He doesn’t seem like that kind of guy.

When he met with Tufty last summer things seemed to go OK, and he has said things since that show how much he respects Tufty.

This can be Tufty’s big life opportunity. We are so, so lucky that he is there when this is happening.

Where we are now there were only two options - stick or twist. If we are going to go for it - a gifted manager who is one of us and a rich sports fanatic who we have got to know over a few years is so much better than when this happens with an unknown new owner who brings in some foreign wanker manager.

I am going out on a limb - even though I was happy to rumble along in the top half of the Champ until wooden box time -

Having watched the House of Saud last night I'm positively brimming with excrement :eek::confused::p
 



Some golden rules for our new overlord:
- Don’t change the club badge
- Don’t change the club colours
- Don’t move us to a soulless plastic bowl somewhere off the parkway
- Don’t replace Sir Chris Wilder with a “name”
- Don’t replace our hard-working, honest bunch of lads with a group of casino-dwelling mercenaries who light cigars with £20 notes and use £50 notes as cum-rags.

We’ve assembled a team with a great spirit and togetherness, managed by a Blade, captained by a Blade, who play in a stadium in the heart of the city...this must be maintained
 
Not over the moon about this, I think we will see an overlord on the board to head the club up in place of the prince due to his almost permanent absence, let’s face it he’s hardly Jim Phipps taking selfies every Saturday in the car park, more like Haley’s comet, very rarely seen...

Positives.... we will finally know weather he’s been pushing KMC to invest more and he was held back by the non commitment of Kev..

Or that he really doesn’t have a pot to piss in, and has taken a very well engineered opportunity to own the club on the cheap...

Interesting times ahead. Could be fantastic or the start of a very bad period of our history.. I can’t call it either way, but as I’ve said, we will know a lot more about the finances of our Prince very soon indeed...

Chuck all the chips in Blades, our shot at corporate football. He's a footy/sports fanatic who now has part ownership of the best football factory in the world.

I’m siding on the side of caution on this announcement, we’ve but up at the top end of the division for most of the season and there’s been opportunity to invest more on the playing front but this has been frugal , so I don’t foresee a big windfall on that count .
Yes the ground development plans we saw look great but I’ll believe that when I see it , for all that’s said about KM and he has made some good & bad calls along his tenure , he is a Blade and I worry about full foreign ownership , yes there are ones that appear to have have gone or going well ..Wolves etc .. but then I think of some of the disasters like Birmingham , Leeds , Charlton , Forest , Portsmouth and think hmm ?

I would be surprised if the negotiations aren't all but done with the announcement having been made.
 
Here’s Bladesmanluke’s list of don’t, FAO Prince Abdullah.

A) Leave Bramall Lane, regardless of destination, I’m done

B) Change the club crest, regardless of design, I’m done

C) Change the primary kit colours or do away with stripes, I’m done

D) Fuck us over in a yet to be disclosed way, I’m done

All that said, I trust our prince far more than any other foreign investor we could’ve had taking over full control. He’s been under Kevin’s wing long enough to know how we roll and what we don’t like and i dont think Kev would sell us down the river if he didn’t trust the prince had our best interests in mind.
