My figure, although broadbrush, was based upon Wednesday's. I would expect that the stadium is valued on a depreciated replacement cost, so although larger than BDTBL, I'd factored in an increase in build costs in 2 1/2 years. For argument's sake the value of their 2015 squad is the same as our 2018, and i've stuck on £10m for the hotel, and £2m for the other land. In retrospect, the hotel could be £12m and the land £3m. That's a guesstimate. When we de-listed we had a market cap of circa £25m (although subject to fluctuation). Feel free to tear my figures to shreds! :)

Earlier in the thread I valued the club at around £50-60m on the equity I think both owners have. and I wasn't as succinct as you! I consider us to be probably the best Championship to buy at this point, if you can unravel and workout and how to split the club and sell as one.

Will someone pay £50m for the club and then £50m to invest in the team though?

Also, the Prince is going to want his money and back and he will also want to save face. If I was the prince I would also want my money back, unless I haven't stuck by what obligations came with the deal. Both parties will need to sacrifice (McCabe yet again) to get anyone to takeover our club lock stock and barrel. If McCabe wants another partner, who is to say we won't be at the point again in 6 years time.

Said this before recently. When we went down McCabe said that would cost £10 million a year in lost TV and associated sponsorship. Surely after this period of time there must be over £12 million increase from promotion alone.
Added to the fact many of our games are on TV now.
(Ignoring that to the £8 million bonus transfer add ons this year (and the £5 million sales last year!, (every fucking year!)))
As for outgoings, CW says
"We are way below paying players the average Championship wage, that’s a fact."
and similar regularly.
Have we got the biggest squad? Have we got an U-23 squad that is anything other than U-18's and first year pro's?
Football club outgoings would be less if we were not having to pay rent to use the ground we used to own, let alone all its upkeep.
(And God knows what else?)

There is absolutely no difference in ownership of the ground from the PL season. The rent doesn't cover the borrowings so the FC is actually better off. And it paid for the upkeep anyhow, because the money tree fairies wouldn't have it any other way.

A twelve million increase in tv and advertising lol.

£7m becomes £8m and last years sales are included in this year for effect.

Break even hopefully.

A little knowledge and all that but it's my fault for speaking to soon about agendas.

Do we actually pay rent? I didn't think we did or if so was nominal

I googled how much Wolves cost for another post yesterday and the reported figure was £45m. According to a Wolves poster on here, they made a small profit the year before they were bought by Fosun. Of course the actual answer to how much is SUFC worth is however much a willing buyer would pay for it.

Plus how much he's going to have to put in for any aspirations he has.

No, no, no, that won't do at all. Logic and common sense thinking has no place on here my lad!

The correct answer to what the club is worth is actually; 'a lot less than robdog McCabe wants for it'.

I doubt a loss making hotel would be an attractive proposition. In any event it's not part of the property portfolio held by SU Limited.

£43m it is then. This valuation lark is a piece of piss. :)

Euromillions is £100 million tonite ... get in :)

Just imagine the conversation with the wife. Yes I thought it would be best to keep 5m and give the rest away, you don’t need to know the name of the charity! It still leaves me short on what I promised Kev at a university event mind so do you think you could carry on living the life you have now and I keep the £5m.

Be careful with your answer though as we don’t want to bring our son up with a broken home.

"Wife walks in. Husband says . "I've won the lottery love. £100m. Get your bags packed." "That's wonderful love, where are we going? You know I've always wanted to go to Australia." "Just pack 'em and f*** off.

Now there's a good old Sheffield word.

My aunty used to live in Crookes and used it all the time about any shop where they wanted more than coppers for their goods.

She was Welsh though and my Uncle was of the unclean persuassion.

They had several dogs over the years, although none were ever called 'Rob'. I guess the nearest was 'Sandy' as all the others were bitches.

I've got all my own teeth you know.

Where's yer savings?

No, it's still how much he's prepared to pay. If he's got half a brain he'll realise he has to invest a lot, as well as taking over current obligations so that may reduce what he's prepared to pay.

I'm not going to get drawn into this thread and go over every possible scenario because I'm too busy but if Wolves went for £45m making a small profit (no ongoing debt obligation to service), for the whole lot, including the ground and any other facilities, then no sensible investor would pay more than that for us, including BDTBL etc.

The Wolves figure may be inaccurate but if anyone wants to do their own research and provide a more accurate figure, please do.

Wait until someone mentions the Ossed. See if you're still smiling then.

And that money you owe me for the wallpaper I didn’t want you can keep it!

The nice man is going to walk me down to the bank to get them. He's really concerned about muggers so he'll look after me.

He reckons the roof is in a right bad state but that £55,000 should just about cover it.

I remember the coronation you know. That Victoria looked lovely in black.

Just when I thought I was out, it pulls me back in.....

Actually many of us have refined and updated our guesstimates after a thread which even with some mild disagreement has remained civil and even at times interesting. Which shows what can happen when the agenda driven don't try to derail things.

In short we've kept you your box ;) (didn't forget the wink :))

Can you remember when we owned the ground?

Those GI's used to love me. I did a turn you see while my Alfie was in Military gaol for fiddling with young recruits. He were good to me though.

Now we've got one of them Arabs in charge......

Can you remember when we owned the ground?

Aye, we sent the smelly buggers packing to Olive Grove and had it all to ourselves.

Funniest thing was that there never were any olive trees down there.

I remember when it were all fields.

Them were t'days.......
