I’ve seen a couple of photos today, one of which appears to show coutts is well under way for competing in Britain’s strongest man 2018 (he looks massive in the pic with bash!) and secondly without walking aids or protection on his leg, which does however look slightly bent, is it just me who sees that?C678CF93-2D28-4047-888E-366D950C3A29.jpeg

most top footballers are slightly bow legged. Beckham's legs were very noticeable, helps with bending the ball ;-)

Saw Man Utd live with Beckham once. Genuinely never seen a player cover so much ground. It was amazing. If he's got that in him.....

That’s the problem isn’t it? Less the bone knitting and more the muscle wastage.
Looks to have a bit of muscle wastage on his calf ,but it looks like he's well up to speed with his recovery great to see.
The biggest problem after an injury like that is having confidence to take a full blooded challenge once the beleaf is back he will soon be up to the level he had previously, probably next season before he's back but you never know,if it's play offs he might make those what a lift that would give us.

On the bench for Middlesbrough at home. Calling it now.

Saw him play for England against Poland at Wembley once, fairly early in his career. At first his mobility was incredible - we couldn't believe how much ground he covered; by the end we were just laughing - it was ridiculous. And it lasted the whole game.

I was genuinely shocked. It was like perpetual motion. Anyone who doubts the player he was is mental

Beckham vs Brazil (?) when we went down to 10 men is one of the best performances I've ever seen. When someone like that gets so pissed off he decides to do everything himself.

When I broke my leg I was able to put weight on it after about 34 weeks, out of the cast and boot after 6 weeks and starting to get confident after 7 or 8 weeks. Coutts broke his leg on 17th November which is 10 weeks give or take. A fit guy like him should be well into a training routine now and obviously leg strengthening will be the key to be followed by match fitness. Wouldn't surprise me to see him get a run out of some sort in mid-April or thereabouts, depending on what our league situation is of course.

Good to see a pic of him up and about :)
