Game almost in jeopardy

They were in that era when BritPop threatened to come back along with Milburn, Little Man Tate, The Wombats etc. Only the Monkeys seemed to last the pace

A local band predating Britpop (including a couple of Blades).

This is their later more melodic ep. The early 80's stuff was a bit too hardcore for the tender types on here. Saw them loads of times at the Marples.

God I bloody loved all of 'em. Was 16/17 at the time and have gone to more Arctics, Milburn, Little Man Tate, Bromheads Jacket, Holloways etc. gigs than I care to mention. Tonnes of fun. Milburn have made a comeback because their following was so strong, but Arctics only really stood the test of time out of that lot.

Rob Skipper, one of the two Holloways frontmen, sadly passed away a year or two ago.

If this match doesn't go ahead sparks will fly.

I don't know why Luhukay was even planning a midweek holiday in the first place but there we go.

I think he must have snuck under the radar* during the last training audit.

*No real suprise he could do that, back in the day he was in the Viet Cong. He has Vern in knots with his hide and seek routine.

Vern doesn't like him referring to him as " Yankee Dog. Reminds him of Vera's US Army "friends" who kept giving her stockings and underwear to put on. And then taking them off her. Good job he's never heard of Pornhub......

Try sending him a "Star spangled banner" ringtone. That's why BigPussy I Should Coco handles the US arm of Crab Industries.

I live on the same grid I woke up during it needing a piss I was touching my bedside lamp to switch it on thought I’d gone blind!

Vern can be a handfull at times. He has flashbacks from the Falklands War. He wasn't in the Army, he was nicking lead from the homes of the locals when the Argies invaded.

Have you heard anything from I should coco? Last memo he sent he was going down to Florida as he had a bit of business to attend to.

Are they making a sequel to"The Birdcage" ?

It was Moritz Voltz

Moritz Volz scored the fifteen-thousandth goal in the history of the Premier League on 20th December 2006 for Fulham against Chelsea, prompting headlines of '15,000 Volz'.

He was also popular with the club's faithful given that he rode his bicycle to home games. He had several nicknames at Craven Cottage such as '220 Volz', 'The Electrician', 'Mr Resistor', 'The Hoff' due to his adulation of David Hasslehoff, 'The Lightbulb' and the rather simple 'Volzy'.

Sounds a real character and would later sign for St. Pauli. Gerrim signed!

Florida? Closest I'll get is the Aldi on Flora Street and even that is too close to the Pig for my liking.

BTW, I think the power is back on so we can stop the puns and go to abusing Bruce and Grealish.
