If you check the bidding history they aren't genuine.

Same person/people upping the bids themselves to try and generate interest and hopefully entice someone to stump up.

At which point they themselves stop bidding.

That makes it even worse!

People also do this to push the price up on purpose with no intention of paying up, to make it impossible for the seller to sell. They do it with concert tickets to stop people touting.

The Stir printed an article on this today. It's the second ebay auction selling the white away shirt since the Superstore sold out of them in 4 hours on Friday. The first one got bids up to £14,000 before the penny dropped with the seller that they were fake bids from pissed off Unitedites who had no intention of honouring their bids, and so then took it off ebay.

Let’s hope the same thing is happening again then.

If you don’t want the shirt then let another Blade have it, stop being a twat

yep after £201 (probably somebody bouncing it for that money) all the bids are from people with a 'history' of 1 or less.

Yep. Same with rare records initially overpriced or bootlegs/counterfeits sold as originals.

Anything more than £50 buy it now you are an absolute twat, trying to make money out of fellow blades for a shirt you never wanted in the first place.
