The problem being that McCabe picked all the managers, sanctioned the buys and sales etc, etc.
There aren't many clubs of reasonable stature who've been as badly run as us over recent years - I can think of Coventry and our friends across the city, while one or two have fallen into a coma like Ipswich and Forest, not many more.
Cut and paste job there Len,you've missed out Middlesbrough, you used to Champion them as a well run club in your attempts to slate United.
Leopards/spots
Southampton is an example of an extremely well-run football club.
Or Burnley. Or Swansea up until recently. Or Leicester. West Brom. Stoke.
We're currently having a good season in the Championship but our history doesn't lie in terms of how badly-run we've been.
What would you spend it on then?all football clubs are money pits
If I had 500m spare I still wouldn throw away money on a football club
No idea why mccabe does it with the abuse he gets. , hed probably have been a billionaire now if hed steered clear of us
What would you spend it on then?
It's a serious question. How much does one bloke and his family need? Is being a billionaire that much better than being a multimillionaire? What good does it do you in the bank? Obviously you want to set your kids up but when you look at a lot of rich kids, do you want your grandkids to be spoilt brats or just to be well educated and financially secure enough to follow their dreams? If I found £500m behind the back of the sofa I'd be happy to spend £400m on the Blades (or £300m and £100m in a charitable trust, something like that). I wouldn't want to pop my clogs with £1bn in the bank that I'd worked hard to earn but never enjoyed. He could spend the first 75p on some capital letters and full stops.
I don't think there is a single 'extremely well run football club' in the country. Some as just less poorly run than others.
*Edit: possibly WBA is an exception.

He needs new material that's for sure, after his Wilders failing/Wilders not been backed/Preston own goals
Hates United check
Hates McCabe check
Hates Ched check
It will be racism next.
I’m beginning to wonder if you think everyone hates United.
But it's all relative - "By the late 1950's and early 1960's the claret and blue of Burnley had become the most feared colours in the domestic game and, following several near misses, the First Division title again came the club's way on the very last day of the 1959-1960 season at Manchester City"Agree with West Brom but Burnley is a relatively small town in Lancashire, with few star players. They've been doing pretty well since they beat us in the play-offs.
Brighton had no ground and were playing in Gillingham not so long ago.
Southampton have raised well over one hundred million from selling players just to Liverpool and have been in the Prem for years, along with making a League Cup final.
Swansea, a small city in Wales, several years in the Prem, won the League Cup.
Hard to deny they haven't been well run in recent years.

Even when you get people slagging you off saying it should have been £450m?

We won’t be anywhere near FFP scrutiny when that is submitted in March, unlike our close neighbours!
Hope so!FFP - Fiscally Fucked Pigs ?
Hookers, cocaine and fidget spinners
CW clearly is a truly exceptional manager. Most other managers struggle to get success. CW has the lowest amount of wage budget given to us in League and wins the thing.
Do you think he's a Sheffield United supporter given his anti United posts?
I just assume anyone who posts on here regularly is! Well apart from JonnyRed(WCFC) of course
How did our taxi company do?
