For all those 14 year olds out there asking where the Kyle Walker money has gone, take a read of this..

Erm...the 'Kyle Walker moneh' when we sold him to Spurs or the sell on percentage to Citeh?
I'm not sure either would be included in last years accounts would they?![]()
Erm no, but from the figures outlined, it's clear that both sums would be dwarfed by our recent losses...
Ergo, those people who think McCabe is trousering it all to spend on flying monkeys, can see that it's not as simple as we get £5m in so Wilder has £5m to spend.
Would have thought a clever chap like you could have made that connection...
You've made yourself look a bit of a numpty here...unless of course you trying to state that this incoming moneh is dwarfed by all losses, ever made by the club?
Yup, we all know the historic accumualted losses 'don't count' as they have already been covered by the magic money tree*.
Let's line up exactly what we are going to accuse McCabe of this year, having absolutley no knowledge of the contractual wages increases for this season plus those for all the new players signed since June.
* Otherwise known as McCabe's pocket
Well the loans McCabe's companies waived certainly could be called 'a magic money tree'...yes.
The losses last year are listed at £8.6 million...I'm not sure what you're getting at with your paranoia...
It is a well known fact that the money tree does exist. Labour won the last election due to this.
I suppose that makes sense to you in some way, so have a 'well done'.
I wasn't talking about last year. I said 'accumulated losses' meaning everything since McCabe took over, but I suppose none of that 'counts'.
'm guessing you've haven't actually bothered to read the link?
I guess you have but don't really understand it.
The profits on player sales are simply swallowed up by wages, thus we have made a trading loss in all but one year since 2000 (IIRC).
I'm not sure why you're comparing last years (2016/17) losses of £8.6 million with the incoming Walker/Maguire money (quoted at around £7.1 million) which won't register until the 2017/18 accounts?
By your own comparison the incoming "Kyle/Maguire' moneh isn't dwarfed by last year losses...in fact if losses were similar this year it would almost cover them on it's own (as UnitedBlade states above, we could break even with no further investment) ...and that's without the added TV income of around £7 million and increased revenue generally.
Of course, we don't know what our increased outgoings will be until next years accounts, but you'd expect them to rise.
You've made yourself look a bit of a numpty here...unless of course you trying to state that this incoming moneh is dwarfed by all losses, ever made by the club?
But then that would be plain daft, as I'm sure a clever chap like yourself can see...
As my esteemed colleague has eloquently responded - our losses have been significant every Year we've in League One, and the magic money tree only has so many branches, so whenever the transfer money hits our Balance Sheet, our previous years losses dwarf it.
Sadly I'm reminded of the saying: never argue with an idiot as they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience, and it seems you have much more experience than me...
Not sure if I'm missing something - but aren't you and Esa both supportng McCabe's actions in support of the club?I guess you have but don't really understand it.
