Even so, £10m+ for an impact sub looks like good business. In the games he has started, he's been quite peripheral.

As was said on another thread, things may change if we get promoted but I think the smart money at this stage would be on us building in the summer for a promotion bid next season.

£10m + is only good business if Tufty is given every penny to spend on the first team squad ......... do you ( even in your wildest imaginings) think that THAT would happen ??

I'm sure Wilder will tell you that Lafferty is cover.......This is my point with Bash. I can't imagine that any manager in their right mind wouldn't want a replacement for CCV. It probably says more about budget than choice. Logically, loaning a player who could cover LCB & RCB would be a perfect solution.

I'm very firmly of the belief that Leonard's signing covers the RCB slot . Whilst another loan signing for LCB wouldn't go amiss one to cover both slots is asking too much of one individual imo .
