Under the heading ' Who Blades can least afford to lose' Alan Biggs has produced an article in this week's Sheffield Telegraph on the importance of keeping Brooksy.

I found it to be well written , perceptive and eminently sensible and wondered what others who can bring themselves to read said publication thought of the piece ?

There's a word missing from the title.
Told us David Brooks was the difference between beating and drawing with Wednesday.
And then a rehash of why we shouldn't sell Brooks.

Nothing new here - yeah I'm just jealous I wish I could get paid for stating the bleeding obvious badly.

Biggs often writes well but the articles he writes are more about speculation or very late to the party, which kind of make his articles pointless

And he started against Millwall and despite scoring, played shite (by most accounts).

“Despite scoring” :)

Do the same for every game in his career, and he’d be worth tens of millions.

When asked about what he thought of the classless wankers on S24SU...

quite possibly the finest piece of football journalism responses in his extensive repertoire....

Must admit, not a fan of Biggs. Pig dressed up as chesterfield and you don’t have to look look far to see his allegiance.

2 consecutive weeks of his shite show last season, at the time wednesday we’re doing well but we were smashing it.

Week 1 - Carlos on but he didn’t ask Carlos about how he thought we were doing.

Week 2 - Paul Mitchell was on, first question and I paraphrase - across the city, aren’t Wednesday doing well.

He’s a tool

That's some paraphrase, given his first question to Mitch was 'can you explain your role'

Well, it's all going well so far.

Just the sort of thoughtful and constructive observations I was looking for.

I don't think many of us are fans of Biggs "topics", lsaw. Most of the time they are rehashed comments and speculative nonsense dressed up as informed comment.

But in keeping with the thread, the blokes an arsehole as well.
