A workmate introduced Wayne to me at Butler's Indian restaurant about 12 years ago. My workmate's boyfriend at the time was playing for a non league team was managing at the time. I found Wayne to be a decent chap. I told him that I remember him scoring Norwich's 5th goal in their 5-2 win at the Lane in March 1986 (Porterfield's last game) and my Norwich supporting mate was jumping about in the Kop (many Blades fans were walking out of the Kop at the time)And married into a Wendy family. They lived opposite my Mum and Dad.
