Could it be a sweetener in a deal for Matty Lowton? Season long loan perhaps with them paying most or all of his wage
Just seen that Derby have said Reading can take him on loan if they want with a view to buy option at the end of the season, could this be an option for us seen as though we have more of a chance of promotion than Reading, or do you think we’re already adequately covered in this area?
My thoughts are that wages could be a slight issue but otherwise he’d be a great addition with some great Championship experience and he would be an upgrade on most of our strikers.
What’s your thoughts on him as a player and what sort of role he could play for us?
It’s obviously not a rumour, just after some views on him.
Wilder could get anyone playing.H
Is he the fat useless lump who plays for Scotland?

Didn’t think he had a bad attitude? He never went on strike at Fulham, I think he played almost every game when he was there.0% chance of this happening. Wages, questionable attitude (did you see his behaviour whilst a Fulham when he wanted to go back to Derby - he practically went of strike?) = not a CW player
I have a feeling a couple of strikers could be on their way out before the end of January, that’s part of the reason why I suggested it.Can't justify a striker like that before having quite a clear out.
And we simply don't need him.

I always think we need better players Ricky, and he is indeed that imo.
Can’t say any fairer than that, although Brooks can play other roles. His best role is on the last man causing havoc though so I can see your point. We have Clarke in the form of his life. Donaldson still has plenty to offer and has done well. There's more to come from Sharp. Then there's Wilson, Ched and Lavery!
On top of that, if we're to sign a prominent, established striker like Martin, then that limits Brooks' chances as he's most likely to play as a second striker. And we should really be getting him in the team when he's fit.
Summer is the time to overhaul our striking options if we must. For me we just go with what we've got for now. It's more than enough.
Why is he not realistic Dav?Not a realistic option imho anyway but a player I like nonetheless
