We're definitely in round four so will get the Saturday 3pm slot, especially as we were already due to have a fixture then. If the other lot get through they'll have to fit around our game, just as they would have if we'd been knocked out and were playing Villa.

As mentioned above - good game time for some of those not getting league matches.

We had Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs left with PNE. Both teams hoping to avoid each other. We failed. Least we are at home I suppose and it is a winnable game.

We'd have probably drawn Chelsea at home only for them to lose to Norwich.

Fine by me. Can play reserves again, still have a fair chance of progressing (as I imagine Preston will do likewise), no distraction of a premier league team, and not exactly embarrassing if we get knocked out.

Bert's memory seems to think that one round when we both were drawn at home we kicked off at 2.45 and them at 3.15 (Or vice versa)

1970s I think, can’t remember who we played ? A good question though, one for Silent. I remember walking past a few wrong uns on Pond street as we headed to Shoreham street and they waited for buses to Muddlewood

Decent draw in my view, winnable even with the team we put out at the weekend, gives the rest of the squad a bit of a rest in a hectic 2 month period with some tricky games, plays into our hands nicely.

Worked with many Norwichians over the years and picked it up from there.

Used to spend the odd weekend in Suffolk's county town too. The people in general are even more odd than those in Norwich.
