The play offs monies
The Harry money
Etc and all he archived was taking us from the PL to 6 years in the 3rd until now.

Apart from that reyt Blade and an all round nice guy

That may be correct, but the balance of funds between KM and the club is such that the club is hugely in credit. There is no “Kyle money” or “Maguire money” or “semi-final” money, just as you don't and can’t have “November money” or “January money” in terms of your own income. It quickly becomes ‘electricity money” or “gas money”, “employee wages” money or “tax man money”.

In any event, KM is not responsible for daft rumours is he? Somebody makes up a story without any foundation in fact and it’s ‘typical McCabe’ . It gets a bit silly, doesn’t it?

This is a vague worry for me. Especially when in conjunction with bringing Whiteman back.

Yeah because it's not like sufc has other expenses to cover like insurance, utilities, wages, equipment, transport, accommodation, maintenance , scouting, sufc community trust or academy to run. All that is arranged for free so yeah McCabe is spunking it up the wall. FFS give the guy a break.
 
Just to be factual, we were in the second tier when McCabe took control, as we are now.
Although the moneys spoken of don't look like they'e been invested in the team, they have gone to the general, and loss making, running of the club. I would love to know how many clubs have gone into administration during his tenure. At least we haven't had any such embarrassments.

Ive helped set up many businesses in the past. One of the biggest obstacles is getting the directors to understand you plough initial investments then profits back in and expect to run at a loss for some years. The losses turn to dividends as the fruit of investment matures.
Running a football club at a constant profit is near impossible. Not McCabes fault he is ok but holds us back, last time we were in the championship his wealth was impressive, now he's not a player the games financial stakes are so high.

Not Kev bashing it's just that he's not wealthy enough so should cash in.
 
There’s good deals and bad deals. If anyone’s offering £10m for John Fleck (they aren’t of course. It’s complete bollocks) I’m filling the tank with diesel ready to take him.

Blackpool fc, Portsmouth fc, Newcastle united fc, West ham it's fc, Sheffield Wednesday fc, leeds united fc, Sunderland fc, Hull city FC, Nottingham forest fc, Coventry city fc, Cardiff city FC.

Southampton and Leicester deliberately left out ?

With the exception of 2 or 3 every one of those teams has won a proper trophy in my lifetime unlike us and I'm wondering whether that will ever change.

Not a pop at McCabe but I fear he hasn't the wherewithal to compete in the championship. Now some of us may be happy owned by a local bloke with our best interests at heart and a steady as she goes philosophy, others may want to roll the dice. Who is to say which is right but what is for sure is that under our present ownership we have stagnated for a decade on the pitch.
 
Better the devil you know. You say stagnated which some may view as a fair point but I believe we've had some of the shittest luck any football club could have. Think west ham, ched.

No not left anyone out intentionally. Rangers still suffering from their meltdown and Southampton getting through managers at quite a pace. Still not a shining light about quality owners are they.

The majority of the clubs mentioned along with Southampton and Leicester are in better/similar positions as us.

Basically, you can run the club however you like and in the long run it won’t have a huge negative impact.

Look at AFC Wimbledon, they only formed 15 years ago and they’re back at their rightful level. So I don’t get why anyone would worry too much about being a well run club. Sheffield United Football Club will always exist.

Because those club's were a gnats bollock away from going under. We've never been there and touch wood won't be. I think people forget some of the positives McCabe has done at sufc.

So you're saying that either he's been turning buyers away or that he should sell his share at a knock down price and virtually give away £30m or £40m just so someone else can have a go?
He said a couple of years ago that he is prepared to sell - but only to someone who he is satisfied WILL help the club move forward
