Aha! Another of life's mysteries solvedI'm sorry. I'd get out more, but I've got to look after this £7m that Kevin brought round in a bin bag.

The Walker and Maguire money of course. It lasts forever. We haven’t spent the Mick Jones money yet.
Football clubs have it easy. How would they cope if they had to pay tax, wages, utility bills, security, credit and loans, repair and maintain their property, run a vehicle, clothe themselves, buy the odd bottle of pale ale and a pork sandwich and generally pay their way in the real world, like the rest of us poor feckers? I bet they even have Sky Sports.
What?
Really??
You’re kidding???
Seven million losses, increased wage bill, transfer fees already paid, doesn't actually leave that much Misleading figures, suggesting 12-15 Million available. Utter bullshit, Fooling no one apart from those who want fooling.
You're free to explain why there isn't an increase in income of between £12m and £15m this season, from transfers, tv and matchday.
Sorry Shaun but how much do you think the Prince has put into the club so far?You said £12-15m available. Not an "increase". I've not queried the amount of increase. I specifically referred to your word "available". You're deliberately mixing things up. Not well enough however.
Sadly for you, you didn't think your statements through. You say we had to pay the same bills, which is correct. Those bills were £8m (operating loss) more than income. ( l wrongly said £7m) So your £15m - I'll take your top figure - becomes £7m available. Then there's wage increases, transfer fees paid and you have to strip vat from additional ticket sales so let's say a total of £3m which will also cover any increases in trading expenses, and we are left with just £4m. If it's £12m less than £2m available.
Feel free to change the goalposts though, we've been here before.......
Exactly my point, you don’t know, you are assuming. Instead of just saying that you don’t know you decided to take an immediate negative view that Wilder isn’t being backed by the club, something which even Wilder himself hasn’t said.
Hopefully you can answer this one. Are you still going to be disappointed with us not spending £3-5m (because we won’t be) if Wilder says at the end of the window that he is happy with his recruitment?
Sorry Shaun but how much do you think the Prince has put into the club so far?
And roughly speaking do you have any idea what his 50% is worth?Of the top of my head £16.6m
I am not assuming re the budget, I can see with my own eyes that its not enough, based on our summer expenditure and what Wilder has said regarding his plans. You asked me questions like how do I know Wilder isn't happy with the budget or suggested that Wilder may have even turned down extra money!? Seriously mate?! In my view, as also stated by local journalist Alan Biggs from the article I referred too (who knows more than you or I), the budget is minimal. That isn't an assumption, its my opinion based on what has being previously spent by Wilder this summer and his transfer talk for January.
As others have said there is no way Wilder would say he isn't being backed. Also when fans say lets wait till the end of January, I get that, but only to a point. Why? Because I have no reason to doubt what Wilder has said our his plans and therefore I can only expect loans of Premier League reserves and one permanent buy from league One. I don't think that's good enough, and that's not an assumption as you say its my opinion.
Can I finish with, we're all Blades on here, we don't agree but I respect your view. You think I'm negative, I disagree.
Night

Doesn't he own 50% of the value of the assets ?(i.e. players)The balance sheet is negative, so what anyone would pay to own us. A loss making business being shored up by the Directors, in the real world, zilch.
PL is the only way out unless McCabe buys him out.

Yes, sorry for not being specific.I hope you mean the players’ contracts!

Well I feel you are most likely going to be very disappointed come 1st February
It should be Sean, and if its not then I'm sorry but what was the point of the Prince joining?
I said rise in income running into eight figures but it can just as easily be described as having a further £12m to £15m available compared to last season.
Either way is fine by me and that's a significant increase in income however you want to describe it.
Our level of investment, for a club in a very healthy position with a potential run at the Premier League, has been minimal, particularly in that context.
Maybe (and I'm just spitballing here as i have no idea) the Prince underestimated how much needed to be put in? Even after he joined, it must have taken a huge chunk of change from him, Mcabe or whoever just to keep the cart on the rails? Spitballing again but a club of our size and infrastructure, on a League 1 income I'd think would leave a huge deficit to bridge?
How about 'game changing' as in "there's no bloody way I'm going to keep this lot going on my own any more"?Maybe he did though that would call into question why the club said game-changing when all we did was run the club like normal, selling players to held make ends meet etc.
All in all the prince's involvement has been a complete damp squib and made minimal difference.

Sorry - forgot about that!No the £23m cash they've put in doesn't count .
Even if correct, what happens next season if we don't go up? And the season after? To be fair Shaun you say the Prince has put almost 17 million into the club so far but the value of his 50% must exceed that so in effect he is in profit.
After a couple of seasons he will be at break even, hardly a massive investment is it?Even if correct, what happens next season if we don't go up? And the season after?
