Shitting themselves

Unfortunately all the bollocks people spout about derbies often turns out to be true. If we put a proper shift in then I think we'll win a close one. But I'm basing that on them showing up and playing well and us being better.

Wouldn't be shocked if we were lacklustre a la Bolton either.

But I'm going for 2-1 with Billy getting an 88th minute winner in front of the Kop

On recent performances i'd hope billy isn't anywhere near our squad! The Don to get at least 2 against them useless cunts!

I'm not giving up on Billy yet. Let's not forget how poor Leon was at the start of last year.

And if anyone is going to score a winner against them I'd love it to be Billy

Before we get carried away and start thinking we just have to turn up to win, remember we ourselves have only won one in the last ten and that was against the woeful Sunderland.

We still need the same focus and attitude we had in the game in September.

We've won 2 in the last ten. Burton Albion and Sunderland.

Edit - And oddly (or not!) although we have lost 5 of those 10 games our goal difference has only deteriorated by one goal. Scored 16, conceded 17.

Bert obviously missed two goals in 90/91. Any idea who got them?

If you mean 91/92, the our scorers were Whitehouse and Deane in the 2-0 win, then Whitehouse and Davison (2) in the 3-1 win, hence the 5-1 scoreline. I think Bert can understand that.

Please don't mention that Burton match , I get shudders every time I think of it !!

Does anyone really believe that shower will even have a manager in for the derby?

Im guessing they brought McClaren in, bottled it due to the reaction and now will sit it out with Bullen (poor bloke) till after the derby and then drop McClaren in like Mary Poppins after we’ve tonked em’.

UTB!

Looking increasingly like it’ll be Paul Lambert, the clear bookies favourite as of this evening.

If we play like we played against Derby today, we will win easily. Form goes out of the window, I know that, but SWFC are an absolute mess at the minute. Lovely

McClaren was ‘the bookies favourite’ a few days ago..s’pose they get it right in the end...

p.S- I reckon Chancer is just chucking names out there to test the waters...

Bert was at both games so he is well aware who scored, however he looks on them as two separate games.

Odds mean nothing especially with manager betting.

Early betting yes. But the odds tend to reflect reality closer to the appointment. For what it’s worth I don’t think he’d be a particularly good appointment for them either...

I think as fans, we need to guard against complacency. Remember how we mocked Parson Cross Rovers for their arrogance in the lead up to the massacre? I don't think Wilder will have that mentality anyway, he will desperately want the double and will stop at nothing to get it.

+ 1 remember the Bolt town Waverers were crapping themselves also.

I'll still enjoy myself though even if we only beat them 4-0 ;)

Bloody hell that S6 Owl still hasn't got it has he? The poor fucker is a dying breed. Most of them now know that just because their aging players once played in the top flight it means fuck all now.

Going to be weird going into the game as favourites in our first season back. Who would have thought that back in August? We are both on awful runs but we are definitely playing the better and have pretty much been back to our best in 3 of the last 4 games. If we can bring a couple in and get Brooks back then we should be confident but it's never simple in Derby games and the Sheffield one in particular has a habit of favouring the underdog .

Just put in the same effort that the Blades put in today at Derby in a game that the Blades deserved to win.
The Pigs are no where near as good as Derby.

Their downfall is due to no uncertain terms by the likes of me undermining the confidence in their fanbase, if you know what I mean :p

This is classic pig fan mentality. United win by a margin? I told you we'd lose!

Lee Bullen? He's one of our own! Except when we lose two on the bounce.

In Caaarlos we troost! I always said he was crap.

Meeester Chansiri will make us bigger than Man. City! The guy's fucking clueless and knows nowt about football.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How the (never) mighty have fallen! We'd just come out of a pub league and will get less points than Rotherham. Wilder will be found out. Pashun will only take you so far. Now it's...

'Tactics should be that if this game is going t*ts up then we snap all of them until we have to forfeit the game due to too many red cards.

If our season is going to go f****d up then we’ll take these piggy c***s with us.'

Surely Galacticos like Rhodes, Fatboy Hooper and Bannan are better than that? Obviously not.

Hopefully we'll win the derby and hasten the demise of these big-gobbed fuckers. If we don't, it won't be the end of the world. Upcoming games at home to Leeds and Villa are far more important than a match against relegation-grubbing Wednesday.

They're fucked. This Belgian bird should break the bond between club and 'customers'. When Kim Wrong 'Un fucks off, he will leave a lasting legacy. An over-stuffed squad full of overpaid, past-it players and it'll cost a fortune to remove the egotistic adverts from the shirts, stands, seats and pitchside adverts.

'D Taxi for Mr. Chansiri?' Good luck with that, as they don't exist.

Don't trust them, snides, all the injuries will have cleared up,they will put in an obscene effort next Friday, compared to their season thus far.

However, just heard on RS,that Twaddle wants the job, please let him have it

Make no mistake we will play each ball as if it’s the most important ball of our lives....They won’t

They really are scraping the barrel when Waddle puts his name forward, I also heard his mate (the saviour of Chesterfield) Sheridan get a mention. This new Chief Exec should make a difference just like she did at Charlton, get ready for it to rain little plastic pigs over at the sty.

I’ll be honest, this is the least I have feared losing to them in my life. Not because I can’t see us losing, but because the consequences of a defeat is nothing to fear.

If they win - so what? They still are not going anywhere, we will still be miles above them, so it’s a bit of a free swing for me. They’re a club in absolute turmoil at the moment and I’m loving it, that won’t change just if they beat us next week.

Of course I’d love us to win more any other game, but there won’t be anything like the nerves for the game at their place earlier in the year. I would love to best them more if it’s thwir new manager’a first game though. That would be great to see him off to the worst possible start!

No,seriously,it was the newsreader bloke, who read out a tweet from Twaddle, because the newsreader didn't know who Shezza was,so Twaddle must be putting them both forward for the job.

Surely we cannot be that lucky, that they give them the jobs?

Sheridan was a very good footballer but nowadays his best form is fighting with his own players. Waddle at the helm is a great thought. God knows how many times he's applied for the job, maybe this time he'll be lucky.
